I am actually a Federal Police Officer..CID and when this number called my Government Issued Cell Phone i decided to call back. When the lady answered i asked her who this was and she got an attitude and asked who i was I told her i was a Federal Police Officer and she was calling a Government Issued phone for telemarketing related call which was against the law. She quickly apologized and hung up...i think i scared the crap out of her.

These callers get your phone number from the phone companies.  I had a phone installed at a satellite office and had over 100 calls the first week.  Only Quest had access to the number.  They sell the new numbers the day they are connected, so the scammers can call within the first 40 days before the no-call list goes into effect.  Pressure your congressmen to change this and make it idenity theft.

received a call on my cell from this number, i am on the do not call list.  did a reverse look up with the result "unpublished california landline"?

They want to sell me a credit card.

I just got a call on my Verizon cell w/No Name on the caller ID, they did not leave a message either - I am also on the Do Not Call list and will file a formal complaint.

I didn't answer, they didn't leave a message.

I am on a 'do not call' list, however I am always having people call me- and there is no response on the other end. How can these idiots get through to my line? This one comes up on my caller ID as private suite.

Google the FCC and make a formal complaint

Dan, we just received Comcast's service as well and have been having the same problem with this company + dozens of others.  Right after our number went live a few weeks ago a telemarketer called.  We hadn't even given our number out to anyone yet.  Maybe Comcast is selling numbers.

BTW, I never pick these calls up.  When the answering machine did for the 818 #, it sounded as if someone held the line for a second listening then hung up. Seems like there is nothing anyone can do.

Katie - I have the same problem. Did you get your phone through comcast? Just curious... mine started the very next day after the install and its phone call after phone call - must get several a day and its all telemarketers. Would be a shame if Comcast was selling numbers, eh? Anyone experience the same deal with comcast? Email me... dlewellin@comcast.net.

they called me this morning, an automated service said they were "satellite tv" and they offered free tv for 3 months, no down payment and all that crap. then said push 1 to talk to a rep and push 9 to be put on the do not call list. i pushed 9, it said you're now on the do not call list. then this evening they called back with the exact same message, this time i pushed 1, got a very chipper young lady who thanked me for my interest and asked for my name, i told her i had no interest and told her that i had gotten the call that morning and was supposed to be put on the do not call list and now i was being bothered again. she quickly hung up on me. i'd like to press harassment charges. i've honestly had this phone line for 1 week and get atleast 5 telemarketers a day, it's ridiculous.

Yeah they called me this morning as well, it was immagration's special unit in houston tx. They called to ensure that my cousin was there and thats it. Its a Immagration special unit in Houston TX.

They said they were some satellite company. They leave several messages on my machine each day. Finally picked up and when I requested to be taken of the list they hung up on me. I answered the next call and asked for a Supervisor and that rep hung up on me. I am on the DO NOT CALL list but this is getting annoying.

I don't answer it because I don't recognize the number.  My number is on the 'Do Not Call' List, but somehow, this one gets through.  Go figure.

Called back number. Has a message saying it only calls business numbers that are listed, press 1 to be removed from the list. Pressed 1, the tape started again, and again, and again, then disconnects.

CA call number came up on my TV screen.  I called 818-870-8107 and they said they were from Consumer Credits and they wanted to consolidate my credit cards with a great rate.  I told them I didn't have a credit card and they hung up on me.

i too am getting calls from this number, no message is left, must be they really dont know me...........like the car extended warranty company that called me too many times to count or the cc company that calls me at least 5 times a day even though i too am on the DO NOT CALL List, maybe they think im using reverse psychology...what a waste of time and money....

I actually had someone computerized message pick up. It says they are a credit card company. They tell you to push 1 to speak with a rep and 3 for something (which I assume is discontinue service). I picked 1 and told them that their company keeps calling and I am on the no call list. This real live operator then hung up on me.

Could it be pay pal credit.. gm company?

They call me every other day, the caller id shows "Private Suite" which is strange enough, like someone is calling from their private suite somewhere. I know the area code is from California.

They call and never leave a message. I get a call from this co. ATLEAST 5 times a day. Starts at 8:30am and i get there last call between 8 and 9pm.

Rang...I picked up.......no one there......must of hooked some other sucker and computer dialer didn't realize it.

I answer but get no answer. I am also on the Don't Call List and yet this number has called 5 times this morninig. Anyone know what the company is.
