I got several calls from this compny. I was so scared i gave them access to my account and now nobody will return my call... I did my research and it seems that this company has been a scam to extort money from me. I am going to file a complaint with the courts against them for what they are doing i will no longer be in contact with this company oh yea the last person i spoke to worked for " elete payments" not the law firm... too i shoulda known it was a scam, now im out $300 and they still want more.. not gonna happen!!!

Called me, left voice mailand gave me a case #. Told me it involved me in a possible fraud case. I haven't called them back. They say they're the lawfirm of Bernstein and Friedman. Did try to google the "company". Didn't find that exact lawfirm.

Ugg, again with the threats.  Hopefully people do their homework and not pay these thugs.  These are all scams and they use illegal and intimidating tatctics to get you to pay.  Let them threaten, that's all they can do.  Nobody is picking you up at work I promise.  I've gotten these calls for years.  Never once have I gotten a visit OR received any kind of paperwork in the mail.  This number will be disconnected in a fee days and they will move on. they use magic jack and change numbers every few days so you can't google the number and find out other people have posted about the scam.

They called 7/12 saying I had 24 hours to turn myself in. Well again today they claimed 24 hours to either pay or turn myself in. When you try in make payment pal. They reject and said all must be paid.

Got a call from this "entity" getting the most vague answers possible from these folks. I ask for their physical address, they will not provide it; I ask what they're calling about, they only say they're trying to get a hold of someone; I ask who/what they are, they state they "work for all attorneys, and the district attorney" and that they'll file "legal paperwork" with the prosecutor. Buzz words and the flagrant use of legal terms are used to intimidate people.

They never exactly state what they do, they hint at what they might possibly do so that you frame an idea in your head, they try to make you infer. I called back several times to get info from them, giving them different stories: no dice. Finally my last call I just told them not to contact me ever again. Game over.

Anyways, I filed a complaint with my state attorney general giving them their phone number and their (probably fake) company name, Bernstein and Freidman.

In short, block this number if you can (I recommend Google Voice). They get angry when you don't provide them info, so don't, and tell them never to contact you again.

I'm so upset at this collection agency! they told me to turn myself into the police department because I have a felony on an outstanding loan, and that it will be on my record. That person was very threatening, rude, and this is uncalled for. They are using Intimidating Techniques, and its considered a breach of law. I'm so made, if this is happening to you File a complaint with the attorney general in your state and they will be fined. I'm considering filing a lawsuit against the creditor for mentally abusing me. I even taped recorded the whole conversation.

Anymore calls from them? Is this a collection agency? Called me saying I would go to jail if PDL was not paid in 24 hrs.

I got several calls out of the blue telling me an officer was 30 mins from my job and coming to arrest me. Is  this a scam?

I got the same call with someone leaving a voicemail notifying me that they will be sending police to pick me up from my home or workplace if I do not call.

Claiming that I have have a warrant.
