Have received this call several times in the last week. (Telus, Edmonton)
I only answered it once, As i have heard from friends about this number
And when i confronted them saying that my car was 20 years old, and of course i dont have the warrenty, they acted like I was wasting their time, and hung up on me. (acting like I had phoned THEM).
at least 3 people i know have got the call too.

i dont even have a vehicle.... and they called about a vehicle factory warranty... something fishy

Called me in Calgary on my cell phone Feb. 11...just like everyone else.
Didn't pick up though, knowing it was bu***hit.

I have been recieving these calls at my home number and my Bell Cell phone. I was connected to the rep I asked for the company name and their phone number. THe company is called Warenty Services, which is near impossible to google and she would not provide a phone number then she hung up on me aftert advising I was on their do not call list.

Got the call too. Just ignored it. Had another call from 530-264-4548 today too and checked it and it's a scam/solicitation call as well. If you get these calls bring it to the attention of your phone carrier. Couldn't hurt.

Got a call from 818-870-9190 at my pay as you go Petro Mobile cell phone (on Rogers network, Calgary). Did not pick up. I am not on the do not call list.

got call at 8:30 tonight. is there any way to block these numbers? i get tons of calls from unknown american area codes, and i'm from alberta!

Just signed a new 2 months ago then started getting these call. Is it the wireless reseller? Or is the Telus? It's a smart phone, I wonder if they gat the number from Palm or Microsoft? It's pissing me off!

I never answered it, but googled it later and found this site. Also got a call from 916-219-8163 that is also on this site for "car warranty". Can you people who got similar calls post whether or not you bought a vehicle in the past year? If so, what make was it? It could be the car dealerships selling your info. If it is then I want to boycott those dealerships! I bought a Toyota last April.

I have also received a call from this number as well as 949-256-9181, which i suspect is the same company, anyone have know how to stop this???

This is a California area code and number...I live in Canada!

I tried talking to these people yesterday.and did find out they were perfectly aware I was on a do not call list....then they hung up

I got a call at about 6am from this number but the connection was bad so I didnt hear what they were trying to say

car warantee (my first telemarketer (or whatever) on my cell phone in 3 years.  These guys abviously are great at getting numbers.

received calls from this number back-to-back never anyone there. was told be cell phone provider to watch charges to my phone bill. why won't they leave me alone.

This is the call from Canadian Auto Warranty Services. They are flooding Canada with a SCAM to sell warranties. They have been covered on the news. They go by variuos names National Dealers Warranties - Canadian Auto Warranty Services, Worldwide Warranties

To get even, call them back from pay phones at 800-559-0408 or 800-436-3185. Be polite. Tell them to stop harrasing Canadians. Tie up their lines. Each call will cost them money.

i have received their calls and have blocked their numbers from calling my cell phone, unfortunately they occassionaly change their number.

I am going to suggest that we get a petition going to take to our representatives requiring the cell phone companies to permanently block numbers of these obnoxious callers.  Also, we could ask for the number to be deleted by the local phone company once 200 to 300 calls have been reported by victims of these callers.

I think that a punishment for the owner or licensed user should be included. Perhaps this would elimninate anyone from making these calls. The cell phone and the local providers should be required to replace the wasted minutes if they refuse to block the calls or to allow us to block as many calls as we need.

I get the call every night at roughly 9PM and when I pick it up,they hang up.  If you dial it back, it gives you an option (Press 1) to opt out of future calls -- but they don't stop calling

I was called from these guys @ 6:54 PM.  I am on the do not call list. I have a phone plan with rogers.  This is the 2nd time.
