got a call from that number today.....no one on the other end.

Just got a call from this number as well.  I'm in NS also.
Didn't bother to answer.

In Nova Scotia - 12:30 pm -same number.  Because of the Do Not Call list this kind of telemarketer either uses spoofed numbers or call from outside Canada so the DNC list doesn't apply.  

Never answer.  They are using auto-dial which after a predetermined number of none answers eventually moves on but if you pick it up once that predetermined number will be a lot higher.

Further search on Google for Area code "826" leads to Wikipedia and shows it to cover the state of Nuevo Leon in east central Mexico. Monterrey is its major city.

Also received a call from this # and let it ring through. I'm situated in Nova Scotia.
I'm not certain there's an area code numbered "826" and I've never seen an exchange start with "OOO".
These jokers must have a "machine" that inserts a very phony number.

I'm from Manitoba as well and at 2:17pm CST today received a call from that number. Did not answer as I knew there was no way a 'normal' number would have a prefix of '000'

This number JUST called me, I'm also in Nova Scotia. Why do I keep getting these unusual numbers?! Frigggg...

Called at 1:30pm today (also in Halifax).Recorded message said "Congratulations,you have been randomly selected to win..." Hung up,so don't know the rest of the scam!!!
