I have received several calls today.  I have already sent letter about a month ago to prove I owe the debt.  Nothing has been sent to me.  I closed my account due to identity fraud and they continued to charge me overdraft fees each time they tried to withdraw from my account.  This was after they opened a new account with a new account number for me.  I now have no account at that bank and they are trying to collect fees from a closed account that they know was a fraud.

So I just got a call from this number on my cell phone and I googled the number and got all these reports not even a minute goes by and they call me on my job so the guys asks for me and I asked him what is this in regards to he said I need to verify your information and I replied with is this about Woodforest bank he was like i am calling on a banking issue I asked him again is this in regards to Woodforest bank and he was like i need to verify your info I told him do not call my job any more, he replied what is a good contact number i told him why don't you try the number that you have been calling since 10am today... and hung up.... I don't owe them anything i closed my account and took all my money out....

They called me for the 1st time today.  I told them they would have to send me something in writing and if I did not receive it I would contact the attorney general of NC since that is where they are calling from.  I also told them they they were not allowed to call me at work according to my state laws.  She tried 1 more time and I didnt answer the call.

These people called me looking for someone with a different name. Then continued to harrass me as if I was the person they were trying to talk to and I was just covering it up. I told them it's because I had hardly understand his foreign accent, he continued to rant. I hung up, probably need to check my credit and make sure someone hasn't stolen my info.

Dear wtf,

Not everyone who has debt is a deadbeat! The reason they are calling me is because also I had a account that I closed and transferred my money to another bank-- now I had 2200 in the bank when I closed the account and now all of the sudden owe fees, why didn't they just take tbe fee out when I had the money in tbe bank? How can I accue fees on a account that was closed with a positive balance?  That is shady! So to WTF kindly shut your mouth before someone knocks you off that soap box!

I've never even used this bank before. They call me everyday because I used to have a roommate who supposedly owes them money. I told them multiple times both nicely and then more  abruptly that I'm not that person and to stop calling me. They condescendingly tell me that they know this and they want me to relay their message. So WTF, it doesn't matter if I pay my bills. These people are still acting like a***oles. And you don't know people's situations of why they're in debt so don't preach like you know better.

In February of 2012, my account at Renasant Bank was hacked and charges made via my debit card number and the internet, wiped out the money it took me 4.5 years to save up. Renasant reimbursed the charges and overdraft fees; however the $562.00 I had managed to save up was never returned - even after a branch manager stated I had never shown this type of spending habit previously. While this issue was still in dispute - and after being issued a new debit card but not a new account - I was hacked again! Twice, within 64 days and I discovered it both times - not the bank that I had been a customer of for 4.5 years! The branch manager looked at my evidence and stated this was an obvious pattern of fraud; however, even now - a year later - they are trying to hold me responsible for $320.00, and they do not acknowledge the over five hundred dollars that is just gone. The manager of Renasant told me to go to Woodforest Bank - they had "special" accounts for "people like me" so, I went to Woodforest and explained the situation, but within a month, that account was hacked as well (my identity had been stolen). I had asked WF to not send me emails, to not mail bank statements; they ignored my request in the name of policy. Now, I am receiving calls from this number!! They want three hundred-some dollars; have told them to stop calling - no such luck

this is so funny.  I called my local woodforest bank to see if I owed them money from an old debt, because they closed my account after they ran up fees for monthly maintanence.  I told them I wanted it cancelled before over the phone, they were supposed too, but never did and still remained to charge me fees.  So not only an hour ago I called to see what they had me owing, and low and behold this number calls me and demands collection, after I told my local office I would pay the small stupid fee they charged and put on chexsystem, so I can have it removed.  This is ridiculous, what a dirty underhanded bank.

I have received several calls form these people.  Upon the first call I told them to put it in writing and then I would discuss it with them. They are called Mirand Response Systems.  They called me four times after I requested they put it in writing.  Each time I told them again that I had requested them to put it in writing and would not discuss it with them. If I owe the debt fine, prove to me you own the debt then I will pay it.  These people have no desire to prove to you they own the debt.  I filed a complaint with the BBB and the Federal Trades Commission and will file one with the TX Atty General's office.  I had heard nothing from the BBB and yesterday after the 4th call from them I wrote them a dispute letter and a Cease and Desist Letter and e-mailed it to the person listed ont he Mirand Response Systems web site.  Funny how my letter stated I had already sent a complaint to the BBB and the person I e-mailed yesterday decided to respond to my BBB complaint.  And once again, the person just said they did not break any laws and would return the debt back to the client and not contact me again, but not once did they say they would put it to me in writing and send it to me.  So all I can conclude from this is these people are frauds.  I encourage everyone who is getting calls form these people to follow the steps and write them the letters.  It is within your rights to have them prove to you that they own the debt.

I am receiving the same calls, and now they are starting to call my job.  I told her today that if they do not stop calling me at work that I will lose my job, so she said well I don't know what to tell you.  Then continued to say that if no payment is made in the next week that there will be more trouble because of a lawsuit.  I told her that I will be talking with my lawyer and if the calls continue at my job that I will file harrassment charges against them.  She was VERY rude and continued to tell me that there was nothing a lawyer could do.  I politely told her that I would be talking with an actually WF banker from now, so stop calling me.

Woodforest Bank, collection agency that harasses you if you dont make a payment? Lady has called me twice and has demanded money or a lawsuit would be brought against me within 48 hours if I did not pay!! When I told her that  I would rather talk to an actula WF Banker she says youre a grown women and need to pay your bills and you are wasting time.

I politely hang up in her face as she continued to be rude to me!!
