I got the same call.  it seems to be a scam or something.

Got a call from this number today.  I didn't recognize it nor the area code.  I chose not to pick up.  From everybody's comments, it sounds like an insurance scam.

They advertise car warranties.  I pressed 2 to "have my phone taken off the list" they called back twice since then (three times in total).  I pressed 1 to speak to someone.  A woman answered asking for my car make model and year.  I told her to stop calling me and she immediately hung up.

They keep calling me ON MY CELL to tell me this is the second notice that the warrenty on my car is going to expire. I wish they would give me a number to call them back at that works, because I WILL GO THE &^#$ off on them for wasting my anytime minutes.

Called my cell at 11:43am pacific, I called back but got a disconnected error. Its a shame, I totally wanted to mess with the guy too!

Got same call, did not answer. If they call again, I will respond to request for "year, make and model?", with: "1917 Ford Model T". Let's see the scripted, half-witted telemarketers look that one up on their computer srceen. I suggest others do the same. Let's f*** with them just to get a small pound of imbecile flesh.

I got a call from this number at 2:41 cst. I did not answer. I called back and got a recording saying that the number was no longer in service.

Called my cell, didn't leave a message.

Call me about the car warrant, give me a choice of 1 to talk or 2 to drop off their list, my cell phone has the key locked and so when I tried to unlock and it disconnect before I try to press 2.

I got a call this afternoon and didn't answer and there was no voicemail left.  It has nothing to do with the provider because I have Sprint.  If you can't call the number back then that must mean it doesn't exist and that Valerie person either has the wrong number listed or doesn't exist either.  It's obviously a scam so just don't answer the next time you get a call from a number you don't recognize.

yep, got the call on my cell phone. answered, got the the recording about how i needed to renew my warranty and should not "make the mistake of driving without a warranty.

I got numerous call from this 828 number they don't tell what brandname my car is, they said my warranty will expire soon and when I answer the call I will need to press 1 to speak to a live person and once I get a person i get disconnected. And if I dial the number the phone # is no longer in sevice. They called my cell and landline.

I put the number in a web sit that give the longitude and latitude. 828-267-9873 comes up as lat. 35.73 and long. -81.34 . On google maps it comes up in Hickory North Carolina in Catawba county in a building near the intersection of 2nd Ave. SW and 2nd ST. SW. Someone else here also got a name and a similar address. If we can find them on google why can't the cops ever seem to get them ?
