I got this text just now but which the phone number 980-458-8001 sent from 4403@vtext.com and I do have an account with smiONE but I didn't call it back. I went on the website and changed my password.

same text received as everyone else posted here. Text came from 828-459-6051. Called it & it was automated asking for the last 4 digits of my social security number to verify my smiOne Prepaid Visa account. I don't have a VISA so I knew it was a scam & hung up.

My husband and I just got a urgent text from this number. When you call back they want last four numbers of social and your credit card number. It is automated and says it's to help protect against fraudulent acctivty. The grammar in the message is not proper as if English is the second language.

Got the same message yesterday from a 954 area code and again today from the 828 area code. When googled the 954 # yesterday, couple folks said they called just to see what the scam was and were asked for card number, ss#, etc. Definitely a scam. Unfortunately, too many people will fall for it.

Phone number: 828-459-6051 is located in Claremont, North Carolina.
Its exchange 459 is managed by BELLSOUTH TELECOMM INC - NC.
The number is currently on switch number CLMTNCMARS0 (switch is a technical specification for phone hobbyists) .
Around 30% of people reported it as "Scammer"
Latest people reported the number as that of "7045165@vtext.com, 803856@vtext.com"

I just got this text on 01/30/14 and it said [smiONE] Urgent Notification. Call; 828-459-6051....its from 7045165@vtext.com....at least thats what my phone says.
