Hello, this same individual called me at work and also threatened me and I spoke to someone else, but now that i am reading this I know my rights.  I never wrote a bad check.

Yes I need help with these people, I never wrote a check and they claimed I did plus they contacted me at work and I believe this against the law, do you know if this is true?

Hi just also experiencing horrific bully and threatening tactics, I saw them on 20/20 sure of it, but they denied that.  We have some rights don't we against this horrible actions!

Report them to the Georgia Department of Consumer Affairs and the Federal Trade Commission for making illegal threats. And, retain a consumer law attorney and go after them.

I got a call from Nathanial Williams 678-964-2333 for a payday loan from 2006; he told me either I pay the amount in full today or they are turning it over to the attorney general and a arrest warrant will be issued for me. He told me that they will come to my house and arrest me in front of my kids, neighbors. or come to my work and arrest me in front of my co-workers and how terrible would that be.
I told him what I could do and he kept putting me on hold and saying he was talking to the attorney or he was talking to the client. I asked him to let me talk to the clients and of course was told this is not how this works.
I understand they cannot arrest me for this or can they? Please Help..

I got a call from 888-415-6429 .. they called my uncle saying that i had check fraud and that i had to pay them. this debt is not on my credit report at all. has anyone ever dealt with this company? i don't even know the name of the company. what should i do to report them?

I also had dealings with Mr West. I had agreed to a one-time payment only, but these thieves have taken from my debit card twice.  They even tried more times but no funds were there , thank God.  DO NOT GIVE your financial info to them or you will be scammed like I was.  I have to file disputes, file with Atty General, FTC and anyone else I can. BTW: they were trying to charge $1000 for a balance owed of $300.

I got a call from a Mr. West 678-279-5840. He said documents were ready to be sent to my local county court in AL. Thinking it was legit he offered a payment arrangement in 4 installments to cover the debt in biweekly installments. A day later in 4 separate transactions they cleaned every bit of my checking account out. Hopefully my bank will refund me on the charges which I disputed. I believe I will be suing because apparently it is a $1000 violation everytime a debt collector shirks on a requested post-dated transation. And they violated this 4 times. Also contacted the BBB, FTC, The AL attorney general and am wondering if there is any agency in GA I should report to as these crooks are based in ATL metro,

Come one, These are not fake debts. leas can anyone tell me how the agency gets you SSN, Address, references, spouse information. Tere is no way this information can be obtained unless, now say it with me, YOU TOOK OUT THE LOAN. Now please pay your bills and stop looking for ways to get out of it. The economy will be better off if you deadbeats start being responsible.

I got the same call, because of debts that I DID NOT pay, that were obviously turned over to a collection agency. It sucks but at the same time, it is my own fault for not paying my bills. You can't rack up debt and expect to get away with it people. How immature. Don't take money you know you can't afford. Own up to it and quit whining.

Rick Rivera, associates himself with Delanor Kemper & Associates. Advised if contact was not made to him within a specific amount of time the sherrifs department will serve me with documents. This is concerning a small debt owed to a payday loan.He has called my place of employment several times and was unwilling to work with me when I made clear that I couldn't not pay the total amount owed or half at his request. I requested to make four payments with proper documentation confirming I'm paying a legitimate source; in response I was yelled at and the call was disconnected by Mr.Rivera. Though I need to pay this debt I do not feel it's okay to submnit a over the phone payment without legitamte documentation. I do not appreciate being threatened with law suits and jail time.

I was worrying myself about how I was going to pay off these debts after getting harassing phone calls...and I just found out after calling The Attorney Generals office / Dept. of Justice that because I live in North Carolina where these payday loans are illegal that they can't take me to court and I don't have to pay. So if you live in a state where they are illegal don't worry!!!
