This is a craigslist scammer looking to send a cashier's/certified check for a purchase.  They might add money to the check and say "reimburse me" for the extra to get that amount of money from you or they might just take your delivered item.  The check will bounce after a couple weeks and your bank will hold you responsible for this amount.  Avoid this person at all costs.

thanks, just got the same email, ver batum.  wanted me to western union $370 to the shipping company... i think not!  i sent them an invoice, and 500 showed up in my paypal acct. i am reporting it now.

I also have received texts from this scammer on craigs list doing the same thing just today.

This is a scammer from an ad on Craigslist (North Jersey), via Text.  They say they want to buy merchandise you have listed on Craigslist and send the money via PayPal and have a truck service to come pick it up to deliver it to them.  They then "supposedly" send money to your PayPal, after they ask for your full name (which they don't need to send money to PayPal).  Then they send a fake email that looks like it came from PayPal saying you received funds.  Another email immediately follows it (which will probably end up in your junk folder - which they happen to mention to you in their texts!) with instructions on how to get the money into and from your PayPal account, which never happens with normal PayPal transactions!  Meanwhile if you log into your REAL PayPal account, no money ever comes in!  On top of it, they add additional money to the FAKE funds (never) sent listed in the email which they say they want you to send to the delivery service!  So I guess they are expecting people to send that money to this "delivery service" (which is really them) and hope that it happens before you realize.  Or hope that you follow the instructions in the fake emails.  Finally, the kicker, they say that they are going to report you because you are scamming them!  DON'T TRUST THE PEOPLE WITH THIS NUMBER!!!!!!
