Can't anything be done about these telemarking calls to cell phones?

I got a call too, really annoying.

is there anyway to stop these people from calling - they say nothing and use up your minutes on my cell.  This is totally frustrating and I intend to also complain to the DA's office here in MA to see if anything can be done

I have been getting calls from this number in the last month on my cell phone.  They never leave a message.

Yes - Yes I know to hang up but today was my FUN DAY. I answered and kept this company on line for 20 minutes!

At the end of the pitch they wanted to charge my credit card $2,100.00 for a warranty on my 8 year old car which is only worth about that much. So at the end of all the selling and nonsense. This woman tells me I <MUST> give her my credit card info or the offer of the warranty will expire! Gosh, I said I had my credit card canceled last week for non-payment and I am ............ dial tone..........

LOL I had a great time wasting all their time. If you all do the same they may get the message.  GOOD LUCK

These people just called me and said my warranty was about to expire.  I asked them for which car and they said "The one with the warranty about to expire".  I played with this guy for quite awhile since we were snowed in.  I asked them how they knew my warranty was about to expire if they didn't even know the car I owned.  I asked what the name of their company was and he told me "Warranty Division".  I asked the main corporate number and he said "are you ready?" and then hung up.  What a joke!

I want to kick these scumback's a** so bad.

Phone rang, I looked at the caller ID. "Garza, Leticia - 830-914-4319"  No one I know so I didn't answer... they didn't leave a message either.

I just received a call from them as well. If I don't even recognize the area code, I don't answer. I just google it online to see who or where it was from. If it's that important, they would leave a message. Interesting, next time they call, I wanna waste their time too! Just d!ck them around a bit.

I just received a call on my cell from this number as well. Heads up- if you call back, it says the number is disconnected. Go figure... I have also been receiving the same calls about my 'expired warranty' from 508-947-4418 just to let everyone know...

Is it legal to have a fake number show on your caller ID?  I think this should be looked at by the communication commision.  I am going to pass this to them for investigation.  Se how that set with this so called company.

They called my cell I called back the message says disconnected or no longer in service.  I have my cell on the blocked list but they still call!  Hey everyone needs to make a living...

just received a call from them - so annoying, they call me at midnight in my time zone!!!!  unbelievable - how can i get this to stop??

I received a call from this number every week for the past 2 months. Last week I decided to talk to a representative and asked them how I got on their call list and wanted to know why they think my warranty is about to expire. After 10 minutes of them trying to sell me this warranty anyways, I told them I do not even own a car. They apologized and said my number must have been added in error and they would delete my number from their list.
I just got a call from them again today.

these calls are made by your cell phone carrier to run up your minutes, same with spam text messages

This number has called me at least two or three time a month for many months already.  Sometimes it goes into the pre-recorded "factory warranty is about to expire" message, but sometimes it says nothing.  This is very annoying and I don't know what to do to get it to stop!

Just called my cell. No name just number. I don't answer unless I really know the party calling. They are a nuisance.

I think the cell phone companies get a 'kickback' from selling a list of new numbers to companies like this. I don't know how this company makes money since most people just hang up or don't send them anything(especially when they don't send paperwork when requested, etc.)
They hang up when you are on the phone with them, even if one hasn't spoken to anyone on the other line. What is the scam? It is probably Verizon or whatever cell carrier that is selling these numbers on a list..using aritime for some sort of 'kickback"
