Business had my name and address, claimed they needed "more information" about me and my insurance provider in order to send my "free diabetes testing meter". I don't have diabetes, don't even know anyone who does. I do not and have not ordered ANY medical related products. Told them that, caller kept demanding to "verify my insurance provider". He then repeated an email address "xxxxx@blahblah.com" and stated "this is NOT a cold call, we have your name, address and email address, we are attempting to send you free medical supply samples". I had never heard of the email address he was providing, told him that, too. Then, he actually continued trying to get my information. I told him that he had the wrong person and this call was over.
I'm guessing they were going to pry further to get identity info/credit card or bank info. I'm not sure, but they are certainly up to no good!
