Got a message prior to this one asking if my bike was still available. Ad is on cycle trader. Interestingly, got another scammer (? Same one) from my ad on Craig's list.

Same as everybody else on here.  Texts regarding PayPal transaction for unseen motorcycle.  How do we assist in prosecution for the fraud/attempted fraud?!?

Exact same text message.  Glad I checked number online!

Just got a text from asking "Do you still have this bike on cycle trader for sale?".  My motorcycle for is listed for sale on cycletrader.com.
Thanx to this information, I will just ignore it.

Same as the rest. I was trying to sell my motorcycle on cycle trader. Wanted to buy my motorcycle sight unseen, paypal, just like the rest. Just another bogus scam.

This is a PayPal scam number. They will tell you they want your item and will not use any method but paypal. Avoid this and tell them you will call the police.

Just got a text this morning from this number about motorcycle and trying to get me to set pay pal and sell them my bike. SCAM

I posted my bike for sale late last night.

Today, I got a text saying, "Do you still have this bike on cycle trader for sale?"  

I responded prior to looking up this phone number: 843-882-7693.  

Now I know he's a scammer.

I received the same txt about my motorcycle that i was selling. Says that he was on the sea and wanted to buy the motorcycle for his dad for birthday!! SCAM!!!

Got the same from this number - for my motorcycle for Sale.

I got text about my bike from this number.  I got legitimate looking email that money was sent to my Paypal account, no money there.  I was asked to pay for shipping.

I just got one too. Usually if the ad is still up, then the item is still available. Don't contact me to ask if it is still available.

Pay Pal Scammer. I was trying to sell a vehicle using an online classified, and received text-only correspondence promising to pay me full price sight unseen for the vehicle and to forward my pay pal account info so they could wire the money. SCAM! (843) prefix is South Carolina according to Google
