Just had the same call. Gave me a case number and everything. I called the county and state, but there is no record of any case against me.

This company is unbelievable they tried last year, and guess what There Back.  Very threatening I called the local law enforcement agency  and had the Deputy call them and they hung up.  When I called back again they said that I had some call and impersonate law enforcement.  I said no I think this is a scam and contacted Law enforcement to verify and then said would you like to speak with Deputy  to verify your company he is right here, and they hung up.  I called back again and said If I ever called again they would file a cease and desist order against me.  Well how am I to contact them if they do that?   To bad I cant reciprocate the cease and desist order. They never would give me the address of there company, a legitimate firm would have no problem giving you there address and credentials.   Do your self a favor do not call these people back they are the lowest of low.  If you are going to be served  legitimate firm is  not going to call you and tell you about it.    Someone will knock on your door and serve the papers and deal with it then, if it is legitimate.

I received a call at my job on Friday. It was from a "process server" who called my HR department, then was extremely rude when he got me on the phone. He didn't ask for any money, he just said I needed to call 844-506-7763. So I called and spoke to someone there who was also a "process server" It was essentially that same type of call- asking me to confirm my info and asking me for my email. He didn't even bother trying to get me to agree to paying the debt. He just wanted to sit there and argue back and forth. He said I sound like all of the other people who don't pay their bills after I said I wanted something in writing verifying my debt. Completely confusing. I'm pretty sure the only reason he called was to argue and harass me. Nothing was accomplished. He refused to give me the name of the company. Such a stupid annoying call.

This just happened to me this last month. I'm trying to fix my credit and the person helping me with fixing my credit said it was legit so I paid the $500. I now have a higher credit score, I can tell you tht much.

My call today ... well, message actually ... I didn't answer because it came up as PRIVATE NUMBER.

It's regarding a preliminary investigation placed on a property address 1115 S Front Street in Angleton, Texas.  Your statement can be processed at a toll free 844-506-7763.  Once again that is 844-506-7763.  Refer to case number 49732-TX67. Have a great day."

The humorous thing about this is that the address is the OLD address of our business property and hasn't existed for three years now.  Part of me wants to call just to see what load of crap they are trying to unload and part of me just wants to ignore it since so many are getting bogus calls from this number as well.  I did Google the case # and the first three links were to vehicles for sale in Texas with 49,732 as their mileage.

I received a call from a family member that told me that the next door neighbor received a call from this number.  The person told them that they need me to call them back and gave them this number and a document number to reference.  

I have had a guy calling me that actually has all my information ss# everything which I know you can just get off the internet. He claims I have a payday loan out and I need to pay for it. He goes by the name Charles Lawson from LDA group. He has called me several times. I was alerted on the first phone call when he said they would settle with me for half the amount but if I paid today he would cut me a deal. So of course I asked more questions he become very aggravated at me and said I just need to pay my debt. I said a debt I don't have. He emailed me a document from docusign and it states the collecting company is Bayside... Sounds familiar from what I have read I. Previous complaints. He has gone as far as calling my corporate office and has recently got me in trouble stating he is a customer and I'm refusing to call him back. This is harassment. How do we stop this. I can't lose my job over some fraudulent BS. The number he also call me from is 323-282-5901which I have blocked from my phone now so he calls private.

Sort of true.  Legitimate telemarketers are told not to call cell phones.  However, criminal scammers still call cell phones ... after all, criminals break laws ... that is what they do for a "living"!

Try these alternatives:

If you have a smartphone, get one of the inexpensive or free phone blocker apps at your online app store, and learn how to use it.

If your cel is not "smart", read the manual to learn how to set up a "group".  Assign the scammer's phone number to that group.  Also assign a "silent ring" to that group.  You will not hear future calls from that number.

Google NoMoRobo, and visit their site, to see if your phone system is compatible with that system.  (It may or may not be compatible).

Contact your phone service provider.  They may have a facility or method to allow you to block numbers.

If you buy things online, you might want to google "Amazon phone blocker" to see what devices or apps Amazon has to offer for landlines or smartphones. Similar devices are for sale on eBay and other online stores.

I am tired of these phone calls and I have reported them several times to BBB without any help or relief. This is out of hand. They call at all times of day and night and last week they called me so many times in a couple hours my phone drained of battery. I thought it was against the law to call a cell phone? They don't have my work number so I know its fraud. I told the guy one time who cussed at me, called me worthless and said he will make it a point himself to ensure that I pay the price and go broke for not paying his said debt. He said he hopes I burn in hell. Really? I laughed at him and couldn't stop. He was so pissed. I told him, since he has all my info than come and serve me papers. I am ok with that. I even told him I would be waiting for him. He tried to tell me someone was in route as we were speaking. Hmmm. Very interestingly enough, no one showed up. The weird part is when the number came up on my phone, it said it was a call from china. I made a comment about it, and he said, "Hmm that's really weird..... please verify your....." No joke. Completely skated the question.

i keep getting calls from this number too and saying they served us on a specific date...i also am a stay at home mom and nobody did anything on that day!!! not calling them back and the case number they gave me doesnt show up on case.net so i dont believe them

Received a call this morning from this number, talking about "documentation" on my property, they repeated the address two times.  Left a message if I don't return the call within 24 hours, they will proceed with the "documentation", again repeating my street address.   I telephoned them, a man answered "Corporate Office," and I said I'd received a call from this number and "Corporate Office" of whom.  He said they represent several different companies.  I supplied the reference number  left on my answering machine and then went to hold for 20 music, listening to some very aggravating music.  I then hung up.  I may call again later; I appreciate everyone's postings, I'm prepared for the screaming and I will tape their telephone call.  I don't owe a dime to anyone.

I didn't quite get the company name, but here's what happened.  This guy called my stepmom and told her that he was trying to serve papers on me. He gave her the phone number 844 506 7763 and a file number to pass along to me, which she did.  They said they were trying to serve papers on me.  So, I called them and gave them the file number. Got put on hold. A guy came on the line, (Mr. Murray)  He said he needed a correct address to be able to serve me- I told him I live in a camper on someone's property in the middle of nowhere and it would be best to be served at my stepmom's house. He asked for a time and date when I would be there.  I said Friday at noon would be great. He asked for a 2 hour window time-frame, and I said, no problem, I'll be there all day, I'm pet sitting that day. He said why don't you just pay the bill and you won't have to go through the courts and end up in jail. (LOL)  I said that I liked to collect all of these court papers for when I don't pay my bills, it's just kind of a hobby of mine. He hung up on me.  LOL!  awwwww.  I don't think I'm a good prospect for their little game.

They called several of my family members asking for me claiming I owe them a debt and that legal action would be taken if I did not respond. Of course they did not even call me once.  I called and asked why they were calling my friends and family instead of me, he mumbled that it wasn't them it was ***** (I couldn't make out what he said) but he wanted me to give him the names and numbers of the people contacted and any information I had so he could "look them up" When I refused he said well I guess you don't want the calls to stop then. Unless you give me their information they will keep receiving calls.  When I asked them who they were and they just said LDA, so I asked what kind of company is that and the answer was simply a law firm then requested my personal information. He started getting very angry that I refused to give him any information and started yelling at me that I can't expect him to give me information about them and not give him any information about me. When I asked what kind of law firm they were, the guy started yelling at me and yelled "WE ARE A LAW FIRM" So I calmly stated I understand that sir but what kind of law firm and please refrain from yelling. He yelled again "WE ARE A LAW FIRM" I told him it was very unprofessional of him to yell at me and his response? "I GUESS I'M NOT PROFESSIONAL THEN. I DON'T HAVE TIME FOR YOU" and hung up on me.

THIS IS HARRASSMENT AND WE HAVE CALLED LEGAL OPINION.  THESE PEOPLE ARE RUDE AND SICK.

i received the same call at my place if employment, i don't owe these people a dime. We need to find out who is behind this and put them on O'Reilly.

This number called my work multiple times telling me that they had sent letters to my house and that I needed to appear in court. When I told them they needed to have me physically served or send me certified information, they hung up.

This guy identified himself as Matt Bennett tried to get to verify my social security number but refused to tell me why he was calling.  I have called the police and filed complaint with the FTC my next call is to States Attorney...if they have your info you need to put a fraud alert on your credit through the credit bureau., if you notify one they are required to notify the rest for you.  The only way to stop these guys is to report them.

I received a call from these people saying they tried to serve me papers via mail...  Problem#1.  Then they became very rude and transferred me to their "legal department".  I asked who they were but they wouldn't answer me.  I then told them I was going to report them to the Texas Attorney General's office and then he told me I was a problem.  
These are just low life debt collectors who get a name off a piece of paper and try to collect money they never loaned out.  They're liars and criminals as far as I'm concerned.

They called my daughter's house and my personnel office. Called the number back. Transformed me to a man saying I should be receiving papers. I told him I will let my lawyer take care of this matter. He told me my lawyer isnt going to do s***. So I laugh and hung the phone up. People are scamming everyday. Get a job!!!!

They called my stepfather and my mom on there cell phones. Left a phone message that they were going to sever me papers and take me to court. I don't know who these people are. And the only thing they told me when I called back was they had my info that I owed 350.00 to a loan company that was fileing  a complaint  against  me. Now they want 768.00 in two payments or I can make an offer of 500. What should I do ? I don't know if this is legit! Help!!

I just received a phone call as well from this supposed to be company.  First, a lady name Stephanie left the message and when I called back they transferred me as well to an upstairs location.  Whoever this guy was said that it's some type of law form and they have to serve me with legal papers.  He got very rude because for one I told him I filed bankruptcy so therefore if he is calling about any type of debt it's unheard of. Then, he also called me "ghetto".  I told him if he or anyone come looking for me I will call the police and my lawyer as well. Then he hung up the phone.

The called this am saying it's important to call us back this is a alert notification that we have information that has been sent to your location, please call us back!!! Bunch of bs annoying calls

Received call from unknown, picked it up because I receive international calls from family under unknown......turned out to be Stephanie Parker but she kept saying "they hired me" and she was coming today to my house to serve me papers.......i told her to call me back and leave a voicemail with the info. I then googled this phone number and find this info.
