Please please please do not give these people the time of day. I asked for a demand letter & Cameron Pryce said, youll get one in court. I hung up on him. Not five minutes later he sent me the email. It was addressed to a MEGAN SMITH. That is not my name. I have filed a complaint, sent my legal letter of dispute, & got a lawyer. Im trying to actually find the owners of my debt & have no time for scams.

Yes, I got the same message. I believe it is a bill collector. The gentleman (Jordan Rivers)  that called to inform me of this was rude.

The from telephone number was private.  The message was to call 844-676-3465 which I did and received a message from their answering service announcing Hampton Price and Associates.  I hung up, but feel this number should be traced somehow to the people using it and get to the bottom of this.  I have heard of others with the same problem.  I was told there was a Notice of Intent against me and I had less than 48 hours to put in a STOP order.  He said it was on behalf of Thurston County and gave me a bogus file number.  The Clerk's Office in Thurston County had no record of anything like this and said it is likely the scam that is going around this area.  I did not call the number again and originally called it just to see what name was being identified as attached to that phone number.

I was called by someone with first name of Hayden.  He said he represented National Couriers and had a Notice of Intent filed on behalf of Thurston County and gave me a  number to call which is the one posted here, the 844 number.  I called Thurston County Clerk's office to see if anything was filed against my name and there was not. Thurston County  said there had been a scam going on and this was probably part of it and to not do anything unless I receive something in writing.  The man was very scary sounding and I am not easily frightened.  His parting words on the message were "Good Luck".  I did not answer my phone because it was non identified and came in on my cell phone.  They also threatened to come by my house and work place within 48 hours if I did not procure a STOP ORDER.  I will do nothing further about this, but wanted to post my experience.  I may file a complaint if I can figure out where to file one.  Thanks for posting.  MK  I NEVER GIVE OUT PERSONAL INFORMATION OF ANY KIND BY PHONE AND PEOPLE DON'T INTIMIDATE ME.  This message was scary.

My phone automatically rejects unknown numbers. This person, Charles Carter, with some time of organization in the county i reside in left a voicemail saying i had to contact the party with the complaint against me. He said i had 48hrs to contact them or i will be served with an order of intent. I called the number he left on the voicemail and it was some firm. I contacted the police department in the town i live in and told me not to give any more information as it was most likely a scam. Based on the reviews i can only agree it is.

I just got a no caller id call from Ted Collins and he said he was from some courier on behalf of the county I live in. Said he was hired to serve a summons and would be here to do so unless he received a stop order from the company at this number.
Here's the huge red flag to me...if he was from a courier just to serve me he wouldn't give me the heads up call. He wouldn't be permitted, legally, to do anything more than hand me the notice. Where I live, it's typically a court representative or sheriff who delivers these things as well. And once it's turned over there's no calling to get a stop order. These dumb a***s need to wise up!

And the name he left on was a jordan rivers and when I call the number he gave me the name of that of a Cayman Pryce and the address in 2840 Delaware, Kenmore, N.Y. 14217

Don't no why they keep calling. The name of this company is Hampton Pryce and associate.

Just wandering if anything ever happened with this? I received the same message but on my husband s number.

Same name called me, I returned the call, he was full of arrest threats to my job, even to my mothers house.
He was full of talk to me.

Mr. Pryce justed called me back, this time from an unknown number, more threats and yelling this time, told me I will be sued, garnished and jailed. I have reported Cameron Pryce and Hampton Pryce and Associates to the FTC. DO NOT PAY THIS COMPANY, IT IS A SCAM!

Also, be aware that it is illegal for debt collectors to call your cell phone. It is also illegal for them to contact you at work more than once if you tell them you are not allowed to receive calls there.

Please do your homework and report these calls to the FTC, file complaints against these people, what they are doing isnt right!

I just recieved the same phone call.When I called them back and asdked to speek with Thomas Smith, they would not connect me. They said the debt is cash net, and I owe over $2ooo.oo, but is willing to settle for $700.00. I asked for more information and they would not give me any. It is a SCAM....

He wont give me an address to mail a payment too, will only accept a debit card, didnt have any of the other important informaiton like when the account was opened etc...he is claiming that legal actions have already begun however I have checked my states (missouri) case website and there is nothing there.

I also recieved a called from a private number threatening legal actions and telling me i would soon be served. I returned the call and Cameron Pryce of Hampton Pryce and Associates offered to settle my account for a little over $1,000.00 however orignally it was over $3,000.00 he told me the original creditor was Cash Net, I have called cash net, and while i do owe them $405.00 and i called their collection agency and spoke to a manager there SCAM!!!!!!

I just got a call from the same number Flyboy.  They left a detailed number.  The guy said his name was Cameron Price and he had a case against me with a case number.  Said he was doing a background check with my social security number and I will be served with papers.  I have no idea what it's about, but I guess we will see if I get served and I will let you know if it's something legit.  The only thing I can think it could be is some old credit card debt back in 2007, but in the state I live in has a statute of limitations of 3 years so they have no case if that's what it is.  If I had to guess it could be these stupid debt collectors, maybe even attorneys, that buy the old accounts and try to get what they can with threatening phone calls.  I wouldn't sweat it, but I'll be sure to keep everybody posted.  
FYI- The call initially came up as private, but I have a subscription (not an app) on my smart phone to trapcall.com and the number mentioned above was the exact number.  It shows on your phone at private caller then your phone rings again  and it shows you the actual number that tried to be private.  You also have a login that tracks every number that calls you.  From what I've researched it's the only service that detects private numbers from these types of scum bags.  Good luck with it guys.

Hey! Flyboy, the same thing happened to me.  It was a petition proceeding arrest on a formal complaint.  No company name, just call Ted Collins.

Follow the steps in what you need to know. A legitimate debt collector agency should not have a problem with giving you a real business name and address you can google and verify via google street view, BBB etc.
For extortion Scam Operations, file reports with the FBI, your state attorney general and Department Of Justice,FTC & FCC..
