Nationwide Arbitration: refuses to send VOD. Contact 844-714-2290. I have gotten this final notification message at least 50 times. The part that is supposed to name me is totally garbbled. Do not provide information. Do find out everything you can so that you can pass it on to others. Maybe we can all get a class action lawsuit started against these low life extortionists working for even lower life loan sharks. Maybe the attorney generals of all the states can get together and start chasing these cockroaches out of their boiler-room sleazebag hotels. If everyone worked together they could accomplish something. I did call them, but they refused to provide any information to me. I am lucky, they called my boss and she started recording them. The calls stopped. I have tenure, so they cannot fire me for this kind of harassment. They do leave harassing calls on my office voicemail. I bought a recording device, totally legal in my state, and now I am saving up all their calls. If a lawsuit starts let me know.

For the last year they have been calling me and my job trying to get me fired.

Document all your times dates of the phone calls Who you spoke too and what time they called your job for court case in the future pending lawsuit against them

They will not mail me any thing without a credit card verifying the debt.
So that tell me they're full of s***

I've been called and left message at work by a computer voice recording from 716-312-1040 saying they are Nationwide Arbitration that I'm being served a legal notice on case file 162149. That I most return their phone call to 844-714-2290 x 316. In other times there is a person named Jessica Smith who mentioneds that she is notifiying me of a "Final Legal Notification" so I can request a "Voluntary Restitution" before any legal actions take place. All in all I've recieved about 7 calls since mid March up until the end of the month. I tried to call back from work but our phones at here have blocked the out going call saying it is not a valid phone number.

Hi,

I have been getting these calls from Nationwide Arbitration for nearly three months.  They are calling from a new number now.  844-714-2290.  They used to call from this number 855-212-7258. I filed a complaint with my State Attorney's Office when they first began calling me.  They investigated and forwarded their file on to the FTC.  Apparently Matthew Marcucci has a long criminal history.  He has been in trouble before for fraud.

I did a little research on the owner and found these articles on Buffalo News:

Found this in the Buffalo News Archive:
on November 14, 2004 - 12:01 AM

Central District officers, responding to reports of a burglary-in-progress, spotted two suspects inside a home at 289 Highland Ave. on Friday night.

Police reports indicate the men had burglary tools and were stripping the house. They pried off antique leaded and stained-glass windows and doors.

Officers Edward M. Cotter and Timothy McDonald said they caught two men fleeing from the rear of the property.

Charged with burglary, felony criminal mischief and other counts were Matthew J. Marcucci, 30, of Dingens Street, and ***.

Police said they were alerted to the burglary by a neighbor who lives next door to the unoccupied home where the break-in occurred.

AND ANOTHER ONE:

MAN ADMITS CHEATING TELEMARKETING VICTIM
on December 29, 1995 - 12:01 AM

A Buffalo man has admitted bilking a victim of telemarketers in a scam by posing as someone promising to recover her lost money.

Matthew Marcucci, 22, of 51 Dingens St., pleaded guilty to one count of wire fraud before U.S. District Judge William M. Skretny. Sentencing is March 21.

Assistant U.S. Attorney Joseph J. Karaszewski said Marcucci was a participant in a "recovery scam."

He admitted that he telephoned a victim in Pennsylvania who previously had been victimized by telemarketers. Marcucci falsely told the woman that her lost money had been recovered. He then convinced the victim that before she could receive her money, she was required to wire money via Western Union to pay for recovery expenses, which she did.

The case was investigated by the Federal Telemarketing Task Force, which is made up of agents of the U.S. Secret Service, FBI, U.S. Postal Inspection Service, Internal Revenue Service and state police.

PLEASE everyone start to file complaints on this company if you have received a call from them.  First off, here is their facebook page (posting again, just in case some newer people are just seeing this): https://www.facebook.com/nationwide.arbitration

How absolutely stupid can you be to set up a facebook page, then post photos and THEN links to most of your scumbag employees that work there??  It also looks to me like people ARE actually paying them money (hence the big screen tv pic).  Losers.

I have been getting threatening calls from them for over 6 months and repeatably asked for debt validation through the mail.  Even mailed them a certified letter. Never get anything. They are also using fake process servers. Some calls come from:
Kaylee Thomas /Kaylee Taylor
Matthew Marcucci
Mathew Jasinski (who has threatened to arrest me, called me at 7am, and repeatably harasses my family members)
Joe Agro
Joe Agate

Let's work together on trying to stop these criminals from the harassment and annoyance they are causing.

I received a call from Joseph Allen with Nationwide Arbitration last Friday, Phone# 844 714 2290. He gave me a case number stating I owe for a unpaid payloan from 2012. I asked a series of questions which he said he could not speak to me without verifying my SSN. He said he did not want to lose his job as he needs to speak to the correct party. I stated I could not verify who I am until I know who is rudely calling and harrassing me!   I asked for a "verification of debt" letter last Friday which he emailed to me this morning, Monday.  The letter was vague at best. I can copy and paste too Joseph! I proceed to get a message from an answering machine this morning stating they will be filing my paperwork within 72 hours to my Texas County. I called Mr. Joseph back stating I did not appreciate the harrassing and threatning calls. Any question I asked, he said he could not talk to me until he verifies my SSN. I told him I didnt feel I am being giving the proper information and he hung up on me. I replied to his email with the "verfication letter" and requested to have the Professional License Number, Website and other information which as a consumer I should be able to ask and be furnished by a legit business. When I spoke to Joseph this morning he told me they are a law office in New York and my case was sent to him for handling. The email they have is nationwidearbitration@gmail.com .... Does law offices have gmail accounts from which they conduct legit business? I do not think so. Something smells fishy... I am not buying it. The BBB for them is an F!... Just saying ...

Been getting these calls for a long time, month after month. Ready to change our numbers. Saying we took out a payday loan online from some cash net. They have all my husband's information and a old Yahoo email I haven't used in years. They are very rude and threading. I hung up on them and called back asking to talk to a supervisor, I was told the man I was speaking to was the only one there. I told them to shove their scam we aren't paying for something we didn't do. They keep saying they are serving papers in our county and sending my husband to jail lol legit business does not operate in this manner. Said they have contacted our bank but we use a small town bank where they know us very well and the bank said nobody has contacted them about our account and they will let me know if these crooks try to take anything out of our account. It's so sad how far these people will go to try and scam you. Another number was calling saying the same thing and then calling to give us a car loan. The scammers are relentless. This week his name is Dean Snyder it was John something last week but it's the same person

Same darn scenario...I received a call from Jennifer Collins, yesterday saying that her office has a case file there with my name and social attached; It is imperative that I respond back.  The crazy lady also contacted my sister, today, who lives in Florida, on her cell phone saying that IF she knew me to pass along the information, of a case file being with their office and I need to call her back at (844) 714-2290 ext. 311.  A message was also left at my place of employment!!!! These people are relentless in their efforts to SCAM you! I notified my mother to not answer any calls from unknown numbers.......This is crazy! No legitimate company would contact you in this manner; it's quite embarrassing of them to reach out to your family and friends. Who does that???

Same scenario...caller named Mark Goodman says that my number has been given as an emergency contact to notify me of a fraud case against me.  He says I have 24-48 hours to respond or they will issue a civil judgment against me to be served at my place of employment (I am unemployed) or my home ( somehow they have my address).  I do not owe anything to anyone in my name, and they used a similar name to mine, not my actual name. THIS IS A SCAM!!!  No legitimate company would contact you in this way.  THEY ARE COMMITTING FRAUD TO TRY TO EXTORT MONEY!!

This company is a load of crap! They are scammers. They are doing the exact same thing with me calling to scare me into paying them for a loan that I never took out. When I asked for verification that I took out the loan they whipped up a bogus letter that they emailed me with their letter head on top, my name and info. They even provided some fake account numbers...damn shame. If I wasn't an intelligent being I would have fallen for this crap! Do not pay anyone who can not provide your with ORIGINAL verification that you owe a debt. That letter should have shown me where I signed on the dotted line to indeed take out a loan. It should have had the original date, company AND address of said company and the info I provided in order to abide by the terms and conditions of the loan. NATIONWIDE ARBITRATIONS are a bunch of losers who steal people's money! DO NOT FALL FOR IT!

The Federal Trade Commission (FTC), the nation's consumer protection agency, is warning consumers to be on the alert for scam artists posing as debt collectors. It may be hard to tell the difference between a legitimate debt collector and a fake one. Sometimes a fake collector may even have some of your personal information, like a bank account number. A caller may be a fake debt collector if he:

?is seeking payment on a debt for a loan you do not recognize;
?refuses to give you a mailing address or phone number;
?asks you for personal financial or sensitive information; or
?exerts high pressure to try to scare you into paying, such as threatening to have you arrested or to report you to a law enforcement agency.

If you think that a caller may be a fake debt collector:

?Ask the caller for his name, company, street address, and telephone number. Tell the caller that you refuse to discuss any debt until you get a written "validation notice." The notice must include the amount of the debt, the name of the creditor you owe, and your rights under the federal Fair Debt Collection Practices Act.
If a caller refuses to give you all of this information, do not pay! Paying a fake debt collector will not always make them go away. They may make up another debt to try to get more money from you.?Stop speaking with the caller. If you have the caller's address, send a letter demanding that the caller stop contacting you, and keep a copy for your files. By law, real debt collectors must stop calling you if you ask them to in writing.
?Do not give the caller personal financial or other sensitive information. Never give out or confirm personal financial or other sensitive information like your bank account, credit card, or Social Security number unless you know whom you're dealing with. Scam artists, like fake debt collectors, can use your information to commit identity theft ? charging your existing credit cards, opening new credit card, checking, or savings accounts, writing fraudulent checks, or taking out loans in your name.
?Contact your creditor. If the debt is legitimate ? but you think the collector may not be ? contact your creditor about the calls. Share the information you have about the suspicious calls and find out who, if anyone, the creditor has authorized to collect the debt.
?Report the call. Contact the FTC and your state Attorney General's office with information about suspicious callers. Many states have their own debt collection laws in addition to the federal FDCPA. Your Attorney General's office can help you determine your rights under your state's law.

It doesn't work this way:

"IF they do not provide you with the verification of the debt, the debt is invalid and not subject to collection.  PAY NOTHING TO ANYBODY UNLESS THEY PROVIDE YOU WITH WRITTEN VERIFICATION OF THE DEBT, AND ONLY THEN IF YOU FEEL THE DEBT IS VALID - otherwise, let them sue you for the debt, as a real law firm will only bring a legal action on a truly valid debt".
