Received call today and a man asked for me by my first name and said he was doing a survey and will not ask me to buy anything. I had a few mins. to kill so I said ok, I will take the survey. hE THEN REPLIED. "sorry, this survey has oversubscribed" and then hung up.
My reply to myself was "WTF!"

Do consider maybe getting a call blocking device or phone.. You can google them and many are around $60.00 or so.

I AM ON THE DO NOT CALL REGISTER. AT 7:17 PM ON 6/16/2014 MY HOME LANDLINE PHONE RANG. NOT SURE IF THIS WAS A VOICE ACTIVATED CALL OR WHAT. I SAID NOTHING AS WHENEVER MY CALLER ID COMES UP SHOWING "TOLL FREE CALL" IT USUALLY IS SOME TYPE OF SCAM ATTEMPT OR SOME IDIOTIC QUESTION THING AND I DON;'T ANSWER QUESTIONS VIA TELEPHONE CALLS! NOT SURE WHAT THEY WANTED AND DON'T CARE MUCH EITHER!

Got a call from this number at 9:17 pm. When I asked if they knew it was after 9pm and they were breaking the law calling after 9, the girl explained she only needed one more survey to finish her quota for the day, and would I help. I replied NO and hung up.
