Do not give these people any payment info.  They are a scam and I fell for it!!!'

I received a call from this number at my place of employment stating from a very loud clear voiced man named Mike from Regional Express Services.  I received this call about 3-4 months ago from another person from the same services.  The weird thing is, they have the name of my place of employment and an old address where i no longer reside.  They informed that they will serve me at my place of employment, but i have no idea what this is for.  how can I stop this person from calling my place of employment???  They gave me some weird number of JSV1515041 and said that I?m guilty because i didn't respond to the subpoena that's out on me??? How did these people get my information and how do you make them stop!!! It's scary how these people know my place of employment and have my contact information as well.  

I recieved a call from  someone sounds like I heard them in the background saying Erica Fellder and a couple other names.I could'nt really catch a drift of what was going on.But I listened for about 5 minutes until it was disconnected.This was srtrange I called in asking for that indivdual they said it was"nt an individual employed there by that name.Must be someones real name.

No one gets a heads up they'll be served.  A subpoena?  That's used to compel the production of evidence or testimony of witnesses.  Your caller is most likely an outright scammer or junk debt buyer who has no way of proving you owe them money.  per the FDCPA, you should not pay any caller who refuses to MAIL - do not accept email or fax - a debt validation letter showing that you do owe a debt and that your callers have the legal right to collect said debt.  Refusal to mail this DV letter within five days of the first call is a violation of federal law.  Oh, and a bill or invoice does not count as "proof".  More info here:

Follow the steps in what you need to know. A legitimate debt collector agency should not have a problem with giving you a real business name and address you can google and verify via google street view, BBB etc.

Yea the same thing happened to me! Last week Tuesday the Reginal Courrier service called me my sister and my daughter saying I had a supena and a court case against me and I had to be home so they could serve me some papers? So I looked on our City's Court Records I didn't see anything filed against me?! So today they called "blocked again leaving the number  and a docket number to refer to. This time I called them back "Blocked" and sum guy named Dave answered saying" processing". Now if this was a legit service or even if it was the sheriff office they would address you as so! REd FLAG! Also ppl who get served here, get served by the County Sheriff! Smh! Boy do I feel violated! The guy serving the "pprs" sounds black with a southern accent. The number when I looked it up appeared in Sydney Aus? Wth?! I smell scam! And this time their story changed, it was to the tone leaning toward bill collector not a supena ?!

844-861-2181 -He called and said he was calling from Regional Express Courier and he has an subpoena and he will be by my house and job between March 4th and March 7th. Haven't seen him yet. Then another message stating her will be by my house and job between March10th  and March 12th.I'm waiting. Since when do they call u to do a subpoena. This is a scam.  The call came from the number 844-861-2181. He also left a reference number but he was loud for part of the reference # and very low for the end of the reference #.

Got a well scripted call from someone speaking very fast (american accent, not Indian) claiming to be a "process server" on "retainer" with "Regional Express Courier" with what "appears to be a subpoena for my SSN" (he doesn't know if it's a subpoena or not?? I smell a rat, lol). Caller blathered on with many "legal" sounding phrases that simply do not go together such as this was my "notice of intent" (of what? the incredible bullpucky the scammer is trying to pull?) and that I have "legal rights" to settle out of court with the "law firm" that  "retained" him (read: five seconds earlier, he said he was on "retainer" with "Regional Express Courier" a fictitious businesss....) and that if I do settle out of court, I need to have someone send him a "Stop Order". He left this number 844-861-2181 as the number for the "law fim" along with a case number that was nearly unintelligible (probably intentionally). After reading many threads here, I was able to confirm my suspicion that this was a scammer.
