I picked up and a husky-voiced woman asked - "can I speak with whoever is responsible for your website?"

I said no and hung up.

I have blocked all these numbers (well when they call me & I google the number as spam). Before I blocked the numbers from my phone, I text "STOP". If telemarketers don't stop, I turn them into the "do not call list" of which all my numbers are on. Blocking the numbers works. You can tell by where the number is from...either no location shows up or just a state name & USA....always spam.

The caller introduced herself as an agent for Google advertising...  They have called many times using automated dialing that said your business is qualified to be listed in free Google pages ... and each time they called from a different number... and I always hung up. Finally  after 30 trials a woman called  from 844-927-9136 and when I inquired about her company name, location she hung up.

Receptionist gave me a message with this phone number. Caller said she was Nikki from Capital Market Analysis. I don't find any info about them or website with their phone number, so I am going to disregard!

When I answered my phone, I got a recorded message: want to talk to you about your website, please call back.

When they say "You're hard to find on the web."  I reply, "You found me."

A very rude man called me from this number and asked for someone who hasn't worked at my company in 10+ years. When I explained that he has the wrong number, he went into a spiel about analytics. I told him we weren't interested and hung up the phone. He calls back 3 minutes later, goes on a rant about a "rude woman who hung up on him earlier" (me) and how "someone should tell her how horribly rude she is" and then hung up on me. If he calls again, I'm contacting the police.

goes by the name of Captain marketing in the internet.   Employee who called didn't know their real phone number that is on their own website.   What  a scam !!!

Just got a call from this number, when I answered the line hung up.

I got a call 6 am , two days in a row, both times it stopped ringing after a couple of rings.
Do not call back and "leave blank message", that may be what they are after, they may charge you for that.

finally picked up this number after getting one call a day from them. They wanted to talk to someone in charge of google ad words for my site... I told them to stop calling me.

Since calls are sequential, they don't "know" your number, or care who's at the other end. They don't want you to answer, they want to you call back and get charged for the call.

Blocked from iphone --- which is easy. Sure wish there is a way to block numbers from the landline.

I received two calls this morning from 1-844-927-9136. BEWARE: This is a call back scam. If you call the number back then fraudulent charges will appear on your phone bill.

This number has been calling everyday for the last 2 weeks. When i answer?nothing and when i call back?.."leave a message or hold on for an agent"?.then  "leave a message"?..freaking ridiculous!!!
