I received a call from 845-445-4602. The caller obviously was foreign and very hard to understand. But he said that he worked for New York Fraudulent Bureau. He stated that he worked within a police division who does criminal investigations on non payment of pay day loans. He threatened that a warrant would be put out for my arrest if I didn't settle my debt. He than transfered me to the "chief" of the department. Where this guy explained that I could settle this matter if I pay $250. I declined and he got very angry with me. He said our "people" know where you live and that we would be there to personally pick you up. He said they would take me to the local courthouse where I would be placed in jail. Until I could pay warrant, court, and back due fees on a payday loan. He also threatened that all current Gonvernment benefits that I receive would directly go to his department. I for one have never got a payday loan. I have always felt that a payday loan is an easy way for a company to make alot of money from you.

some foreign guy called asking for my social and I asked to be removed from call his and he stated no and he kept wanting my social . he wouldnt give me name of company either

Got a call from a man claiming to be from NYPD telling me they have a complaint against me and are going to get me arrested if I did not pay money I supposedly got from a company on line.  Told him I never got any money, had applied and never was approved.  Told him I know it is some kid of scam

I keep getting calls at my place of employment from someone stating they are Officer James White from NYPD.  They have called today seven times in the last 2 hours.  They state that I owe them money, told me to shut the f... up, called me bad names.  I told him that I turned them over to our locate police station.
This has happened to five employees this year a lone, something needs to be done!!

I got the same call here in the Rocket City, USA (Huntsville, AL).  It sounded like he was using a megaphone or loudspeaker to talk into the phone.  He claimed that a black and white or something would show up at my place of work with a "termination letter."  My place of work has lots of armed police and soldiers.  He also claimed to be from the NYPD.  It was hard to understand the entire message due to the loudspeaker effect.

Got the same call 3 time within an hour. Some guy named James White saying he was from the NYPD,with a STRONG accent sounding like he was reading a script, (same wording on all 3 messages). These guys need to get a life. i am going to report them as well.

Mike Stone called claiming he was a collections officer for NYPD and threatened leagal trouble if i didnt pay a collection from an online pay dayloan. DONT GET PAY DAY LOAN ALL YOUR INFORMATION IS LEAKED OUT OVER SEAS AND TO WHOEVER. He want's you to pay with green dot money pak voucher. Has a bad broken accent

We are a non-profit organization and get calls from this number stating (as others mentioned in this forum above) that he is an Officer with NYPD named Mike Stone.  He is looking for a former employee and has even cursed at our employees telling him she no longer works there.

I'm gna return the favor and call him all day.  Waste his time so he wont have as much time to scam others. What a douche.

Same happened to me. Mike stone. There is a real Mike stone at the justice dept. . I left him a msg letting him know.

jerk called me back and i told him you are not who you say you are-not the NY Police dept and you are a scammer and i have reported you. he really got mad. wonder if there is a way to contact the NYPD and let them know they have scammers on their hands and saying they are NYPD?

just got a call and he states he is with the NY police dept-yeah right!! wanted to talk to me about a case against me and i told him i dont live in NY so leave me alone. what a scammer!!! think i will call him back and tell him so!!

keep getting calls from 845-445-4602 saying i owe 300 for a payday loan that i put in online i never got a pay day loan online so i have no idea how this person knows all my info but i need to find out who to contact reguarding this matter they cant even get the date straight on when this so called pay day loan was established and nothing is showing up on my credit report there fore there was no pay day loan
hope they catch this person who claims to be an officer of NYPD think i am going to call them in the morning hell i dont even live in NY
