Ya they called me (845) 445-2833 Steven Franklin said he was with a law firm and he was an attorney. (NICE RED BLOODED AMERICAN NAME FOR A FOREIGN PIECE OF CRAP) So I said what law firm are you with? I got no answer, I asked again WHAT LAW FIRM ARE YOU WITH? Again I got no answer, he just said he was an attorney and needed to talk to me. Well the idiot couldn't even say my name right. So I had some fun. Again I asked "HEY YOU, SAND NI@@ER, WHAT F#@%*G LAW FIRM ARE YOU WITH?" Well Lmao, imagine this, HE HUNG UP ON ME!!!!!!!
Well its only fair,,,, if they can call me,,, well then I can call them to...... AND CALL THEM I DID... OVER AND OVER AND OVER AND OVER, about 30 - 35 times or maybe more. The worthless pieces of S*** would answer (sometimes) and then hang up on me. Pissed me right off. Worthless foreign pieces of S***... Law firm my A$$ETS..... about 5 months ago I had some of them same type of people (SAND NI@@ERS) calling my number 15 - 20  times a day wanting to give me a car loan,,,,until I finally got tired of it and did the same thing to them, ONLY I CALLED THEM 76 times in ONE DAY. I figured if I kept them on the phone with me and kept their phone lines tied up, then they weren't bothering some of the other poor hard working americans here in the states and that is just what I would tell them to. I told them flat straight up that I was tieing up there lines so they couldn't bother any of you guys out there. Pissed them right off.. At one point I offered them a deal.
I wouldn't call them anymore if they took my number and got rid of it. But if they called my number 1 more time,,, I have free calling and I got no limits and i'm off work 4 days a week Monday thru Thursday and I have no problem calling them from sun up till sun set.......

I just posted, but then saw a posting about having sprint, and sprint selling numbers.....although I did not receive a call from this number, I received an email-I too have sprint. thought I would add that in, maybe its true. I hate sprint to begin with-service sucks, and customer sucks! boooooo sprint!

I received this phone number in an email. The email was "from a lady" who lived in texas and won a lot of money in a settlement and that I too could win a lot of money because my name was on some list and she told me to call fred walters, at this number. It also asked me to respond to the email with my full name, address and phone number. Needless to say, I'm NOT stupid and didn't call, I was simply curious to see what 800notes had to say about the number. I love this site! Anyways, I wouldn't even call this number back, Scam, scam, scam, scam, scam!

Answered and there was a real person on the other side. Said I filled out something a month ago for a job (I moved to Florida 2 months ago). Asked where the job was and they said Myrtle Beach, SC and I told them I no longer lived there. They said ok and bye.

Just got the call while i was in the middle of something it sounded like they hung up when i answered but the call was still going. i hung up and checked on here. glad to see an answer for this waste of time. wondering how my number got out...

in case you are using sprint, you should consider changing providers, as they appear to have sold all their customers' information to sites like Spokeo

my information was private until I purchased a phone from them. very shortly after, my info made it's way onto Spokeo. you should check and be sure yours is not there too, as it completely bypasses things like the DNC lists since they charge so little to give out your information.

I just got a call from this number saying they were following up on an online survey about jobs and had to ask a few questions to see if I'm qualified.  I told them it was pure b***s*** and hung up.

Just got 1, it didn't even talk. I cb on a land line and it answered "W N Positions" stating as above, that you were looking online for a job!

Had almost the same experience, but I don't think the guy actually used my name. When I pressed him about the survey, he said it was for a 'Walmart Gift Certificate". Yeah, right.

When I called the number, it was a recorded message for "WN Positions" placement agency.  "Because when you were online, you indicated an interest in a job opportunity."  This is plain BS.

I got a call from this number today. The man on the other end said he was following up on an online survey I had taken, and wanted to confirm some information to match me up to potential jobs. I said I didn't remember filling out an online survey. He pressed on, asked if I speak English. I said I did. (Figured he could tell that anyway.) He asked me if I was at least 18. I repeated that I didn't remember filling out an online survey. He said thank you and quickly hung up. I'm in the 845 too, never seen a weird spammy call from here before.

called @ 11:41AM and took a while to answer when i said hello - said he was following up on an on-line survey i took recently - i said i hadn't taken any on-line surveys - another long pause before he answered - he said his job was to verify my information to see if i am qualified for some jobs - I asked where these jobs were (because although i have an 845 number, i live in 608 areacode) - another long pause - i hung up because the pauses stank of either someone rummaging through scripts to find a scenario that would get them their info and i wouldn't object to, or a robo-caller. I'm guseeing the latter.

I got a phone call from this number today at around 4:45. He stated that he's calling bc i filled out an online survey, which i didn't and stated that. He ignored my statement and said he's calling bc it said I was looking for a job which then i  said  that I have one and I'm not looking for a new one. Then he said thank you and goodbye....

you all must be looking for a job.  sometimes people post phoney jobs to collect your phone info.  be careful where you send resumes--always cross reference.  this phonecall was automated, so you cannot speak to a "person".  Just block the number.

Yeah I got a call from this number about 5 hours ago. No message but definitely a scam judging by others reactions.
