I work nights and keep getting these calls, almost all the time at 9:45 am... about a month ago the caller ID said it was a number out of the 713 area code.... he called over and over.... today he called again and I took down the number 940-230-2185

Any time I say Remove me from your list, he just continues to talk.....

calls come @ least 3 x a day.  Picked up the other day, pressed one, got a person on the line and informed them (again)  to remove me from their system.  Another call came in on Fri. 7/12 @8:30PM - same routine and they hang up.  By the by, it is reported that the number 845 520 3292 is not an operating number.  Really!  How can the place calls.  Reported to my provider....nothing can be done because it is not an "operating number".
Is there anything that anyone can do about these harassing calls?  Do we have any rights?

I got exactly the same message --this is John blah blah balh - no matter how you tell these people to take your # off the cold calling list, they persist in calling again and again. Instead of looking into the size of the drinks people are consuming, they should go after these annoying callers

This bozo calls almost every day....I am going to find this company, and when I do I will sue them for harassment, I am 45 years old and I certainly do not need or want a medic alert....oh to have 10 minutes in a room with this jerk. I wonder how many seniors he has scammed with this scheme....NY attorney General where are you????

Got the call about a medical alert system.  Voice sounds very real and not a robo call, but that is what it is.

Mine was this is John from the shipping department about medical supplys, and all I could do was say give it a rest and hung up.


He picked the wrong time to call the wrong guy


all my caller ID showed was the above # and a long string of #'s starting with a 'V'

Constant calls even though they were told I would not donate this year

I get a call every other day, they never leave a message. When I call back, the number is not in service....I was getting calls about the medic alert thing too, but from a different number...they left messages everyday...Very annoying....

I receive the exact same calls. at least twice a week.  Can't something be done about this?

Got a call today July 9 from 845-520-3292 wanting to schedule delivery of a medical alert device "that has already been paid for."  When I quesitoned the male caller, he switched to a pre-recorded message saying if you already have a medical alert device, please disregard this message.  Scam.

call at 8pm at night. no answer on other end for answering machine

Received call today, usual recorded offer of free alert system. Luckily my new phone has a quick call-blocking feature, so I will not hear from this particular number again. Our local police in Westchester report that "there is a phone scam targetting the elderly, senior citizens centers, and family members with offers of a "free medical alert system."  The victim is informed that the system has already been paid for and the caller then asks for a time to come by the targeted residence and "install" the system.  Similar calls have been received in Putnam County.  It is believed that the suspects are attempting to gain entry into these residences to remove valuables." Be warned, and inform and protect any vulnerable and trusting seniors you may know.

ditto. it must be a scam. beware. It will eventually go away like  the pre-recorded energy company message that kept calling me.

Everyone here is basically saying the same thing.... So I'll tell you what I'm going to do with them..... I'll wait until someone gets on the line ..... I will waste as much of their time as possible .... then curse them out like a truck driver!

If everyone did this it might do some good.... they deserve nothing else.

We should all get together and track these people and put the fear of God in them. If you know what I mean........

Same message as anyone else. "A medical alert system has already been purchased for me." Isn't this illegal? How can this person be stopped? It doesn't help not to answer. They leave a message.

I have this number blocked....they still keep calling at least once a day.
Amazing that we have absolutely no rights and pay for telephone service to be annoyed

I have filed on ine complaints and have gotten calss back from the FCC.   The follow up mailed letter listed that one of the complaints was fined $25,000 per complaint  THe more people who complain, the more apt they are to follow up.

This guy never shuts up..you tell him you never ordered anything but he just keeps on talking..you ask him what wa ordered and he just keep talking..I just hang up on the douch bag...
