Phone rang 3 times. I answered "This is Becky may I help you". There was silence so I said, "Hello" and you could hear them hang up.
If there is something they are trying to recover as others on this blog say it is Pioneer Recovery, they are doing a piss poor job of it if they continually hang up without ever saying a word.

And they called again today asking for the same person, who I don't know, again... They said they wouldn't call, again... I can only hope for that. The number of calls lately has been almost over whelming, due to an election, charities asking for money, and then this... Why do businesses, and just anyone out of the blue think they can call you? My phone connection and the device, which I pay for, is for my use, and for my family and friends to use... Not every tom, dick and harry..

Send them a cease & desist letter (certified of course) and then they can only mail you correspondence IF they do do not ignore it Because they can then file suit against your son Your better off making arrangements with them ( IF THEY ARE LEGIT THEY SHOULD HAVE SENT SOMETHING IN THE MAIL)

This number called my home phone number looking for someone who has been using my address for over 25 years to hide from creditors. It was credit collection company out of New York state. They had my home phone linked to a different person in an entirely different state. Wrong SS#, wrong address, wrong name, wrong,,,,, but the phone number.

Hee hee... this company is so fun to mess with. They are flat out idiots.
I call them back from two different numbers and let them talk to each other (they don't know wtf is going on) , or play pre-recorded animal sounds or foreign languages.
They've ticked me off once. That's all I needed. (Hey, I'm retired now and I find their reactions hilarious).

Why don't you call them back and deal with your accounts.
none 2011-06-06 21:00:14 Unknown
It is illegal for them to go your neighbors and ask them to get you etc..

This is a debt collector. I do NOT have a phone, so they called the apartment next door looking for me. Do they think HE will pay my debt? This company should be taught a lesson. I hope they get sued for this.

They've called at least once per day for the last 3 weeks. It is a recorded message for "Richard Chase Joquist" and they say it is a "private matter" and that I shouldn't listen, so I don't. I filed a complaint with the FTC, I suggest you do the same:

The phone number has called my cell phone many times and then they don't talk when the phone is answered. I have no idea why they are using up my phone minutes. I call the number and they didn't know either.

Call me because a friend of mine put me as a reference. i have lost contact with this friend, and have told these folks several times over a 4 year period of time that i cannot contact him any longer. if they have a legit claim, why can't they send papers to his address by way of the sheriff department?? I do not think they have a legit claim. If their claim was legit it would not have taken years for them to get in contact with this friend. He told me several years ago that they were crazy if they thought he was going to pay them twice.

pioneer credit recovery is part of SallieMae the leading student loan company. If they are calling you about student loan that are in default than it is best to deal with them. you can get the payment down to a lot less than they can garnish your wages for. You can not declare bankruptcy on default student loans that is why they are called gauranteed loans. the company representing your original lender or actually they have bought the loans and after you have paid them monthly for about a year they sell the loan again to another student loan company.
jmdolphin 2009-02-12 00:43:45 Unknown
if you owe federal insure loans then your original lenders sell this loan to them and now they will collect. They can garnish up to a percent that your state allows. cry poor and they will accept a lot less than they start with.
Amber 2009-02-09 23:20:38 Unknown
They just keep calling. No messages. Just calls.
