Harrassing debt collector that was very rude.

I am so outraged with this so=called Attorney, Drew Turner. I am so very glad to see that this is happening to toher people!! I am being accused of writing a bad check. He has also somehow gotten my cell number, I do not know how. I aksed him to please stop talking over me and talking down to me. He is very rude and hurtful! I thought attorneys where ethical to seek justice, not stooping to this level. One specific comment he made when I asked to please speak to him about the matter at hand, he replied repeatedly saying "This is not a chat hotline." Oh my! What should I do about this?! I aksed him to please speak to my husband about this matter and he said to have my husband call him. I did and my husband left 4 messages with two weeks. I just got a call from him saying he never received ANY of them! How can I prove that I am trying to talk to him about this and maybe working something out, but he just talks right over me and bullies me around!
Please help!

update on Drew Turner from Hall and Assoc Orangeburg N.Y. Their tel no 845-678-6200.I called them 3PM CDT and asked them to record what I was going to advise them about Drew Turner .They Refused.They however mare not going to take me to court now;but I was hung up on anyway.a

We are also reciveing a call from this company. They are stating i have a hot check out and that they are going to sue me. I have contacted my Local District Attorneys office and they have no record of me having a hot check. I also called the to the Company they claim i owe and they said they couldn't get my the information at all. I have asked the so called firm what the check number was and the amount and also with what bank. They keep telling me by law that they can't provide us with the information. I would like the information so i could go back track the bank and verify if it was paid. We have caught on to them and asked if Drew was an attorney then the man said he is the manager of the office. So why is the manager of the office calling and protraing as an attorney?
We have recived a letter this week showing that the company is willing to sattlemant amount for 217.15. He is calling our cell phone not our land line. I am still questioning how is recived our cell phone number when our land line is listed.

Got a similar call in Buffalo, NY.  False statements, individual claiming to be an attorney.  Name, phone number, dates, and times of calls reported to the NYS Atty. General's office.  I am within NYS, and so is this clown, that makes it something the Atty. Generals is interested in.  I spoke to an investigator today, 3/11/09.  They have had multiple complaints, and they know who he is.

Obnoxious person called home of Dr. Evans, as well as his Animal Hospital and identified himself as an attorney with Hall and Associates and reportedly did not identify himself as a debt collector [Today I listened to a tape recording of a subsequent call by the same person who identified himself as a Drew Turner, with Hall and Associates and during this call he made reference to my call to the 845.678.6213 number during which I notified him that I was Jpohn G. Doak, Sr. , an attorney of  Nashville Tennessee representing Dr. Evans who he (Drew Turner had called and been rude to and told him the neither Dr. Evans  nor his son wanted any further communication from him and asked that if he had anything else tpo say to either of them ., to call me and gave him my contact information) ( the things I said to him were in between his repeatedloy demanding that I send him a letter of representation before he had any intention of talkoing to me further or of paying any attention to my request that he not harrass my clients further) (note I have been in private general practice for something in excess of 45 years) I plan to call this person again today and try to convey my message to him. Dr Evans is presently 90 years of age and has no debt to anyone connected to this person. In fact if this obnoxious bully (my considered opinion after talking with him) had not been so obnoxious to Dr. Evans and to his son he would have most likely obtained the information and cooperation of these folks because the person who is apparently of interest to him is not in the good graces of the Evans family. He is the sort of person who causes attorneys like yours truly to have to charge their clients for wasting a bunch of time and paper telling debtors that they are debt collectors etc etc etc, I can be reached at my law office  at 2525 Lebanon Pike, Building A Nashville TN 37214-2414 or email to doaksr@gmail.com.  Think about it: Dr. Evans and his son were so offended by his abusive behavior that they called me and had me contact this fellow and tell him that I represented them and wanted this to come to an end.....for him to demand that I send him something in writing telling him this or he was going to keep on calling them, was absurd. I just received a return phone call from two I had previously made ro his office today and left the information. mI answered the phone, "John Doak" Again, he did not identify himself as a "Debt Collector"

Said was not a debt collector but a law firm, claimed there would be consequences if did not mail them 200+ dollars.  Would not give details as to debt or what consequences would be.  Many vague threats, money demands.  Said "not his problem" as to why no prior notice of debts.  Claimed to be attorney though made multiple clearly inaccurate statements of law.
