A member of the household purchased a painkiller from another company on the internet. Of course companies are always buying the lists of customers from another competitor. Remember the number of customers is limited. So the computers run though the database pretty quickly which leads to the excessive number of calls to any number on the list. Now my household has been undergoing this harassment since last summer. My caller is usually a young man who speaks English with an Indian accent. Although the caller will change at times he usually remains the same. He never uses his number but is apparently sending his calls through a telephone marketing service. So the number and location of the call always changes on the phone's display. Internet drugstores usually operate without a pharmacist and are simply clearing houses for a supply of cheap, foreign drugs. In my case he was always taking orders for Global Pharmacy but he has recently referred to it as the Pharmacy. When I looked into it I never found Global Pharmacy on the internet but there was a Global Pharmacy International and Global Pharmacy Canada. When I checked GPI I immediately noticed a banner across the website warning the visitors that they wouldn't fill any orders taken by GPC. When I turned my attention to GPC I learned why. The Ontario Board of Pharmacy filed a civil suit against Global Pharmacy Canada and RX Processing Services in 2012 which they won. GPC & RXP appealed the cease and desist order in Superior court but lost the appeal last June. If you read the court document GPC is actually based in Belize. RXP ran the call center from Mississauga, a suburb of Toronto. RXP was recently incorporated in Delaware but its base is really fund in Tampa, Florida. Now the local paper claimed that GPC-Belize sold the call center to RXP but what they did with it I don't know. I also don't know what happened to the owners of GPC. Both men are listed in the court document and reside in Pennsylvania not far from Toronto. The more I think about it the more it looks like they purchased a franchise from Global Pharmacy International and their only job was selling to the American market. In any case they must have run quite a few debts that 'going under' was not an option. I suspect that they set up the operation in this country. Perhaps they took the money from the sale of the call center and used it for capital. Without a pharmacist they must sell on the sly, or they will be shutdown.

Sam here.  "Lisa" calls my cell at least 4x per week.  Same crap....rx ready to be shipped....blah blah.
I NEVER answer the phone unless I know who is calling.  Can't figure out how these people solicit and ship meds without an rx.  FREAKS.

This is a group of idiots that barely speak English.  I get the same calls on my cell.  I never answer, but some girl named Lisa always leaves a message about "my rx is waiting to be shipped out".  Then she leave a totally different # to call back to get the tracking #, etc.  One time, the same girl called under "unavailable" and I (unfortunately) answered.  I was so angry and said you keep calling and f****g stop it, NOW and then hung up.

Data phishing scam.  Pretends to be your pharmacy with a prescription waiting - only needs some personal information in order to complete the transaction.

I received a message from "Andy" at the "pharmacy" informing me my order is ready to be mailed and I needed to call him back so he could give me the mail order # and tracking #.  This is a bogus call.  Not sure what the scam is. I did not call him back.
