Any suggestions as to how to stop this caller?

I keep getting calls (at all hours) from this number. I have told them I am not interested. Now I either let it ring or I pick up and hang up. HOWEVER, it is becoming annoying and intrusive.

This board is simply a sounding board for people to vent and inform others of scam telemarketing calls they receive.  There is no authority associated with the 800notes site to stop these callers.  In order for people to collectively stop these type calls they must act together - and TAKE ACTION!.  It doesn?t do any good to complain about a caller on this board unless you then take the next step and do something about it!  And never, never, ever engage the caller or call back the number.  The false robo callers will then capture your number as a ?live one? and use it over and over and sell it to other scammers.
The DO NOT CALL list is worthless, they do not act on anything, just build a database of numbers.
In order to do something to help stop these type calls, everyone - EVERYONE needs to file an online complaint directly with the FCC.  If they receive enough complaints about a particular number - they will act on it.  Do it today and pass along the info:

They have not respected my request to be put on their internal do not call list (and have not respected my being part of the National Do Not Call Registry. They keep calling and calling and calling.

Since this is an energy supplier solicitation in New York State, you can call the Commissioner of the New York Public Service Commission to file a complaint at 888-697-7728.

You can also file a complaint at the National Do Not Call Registry, as well as one with the Federal Trade Commission and finally the Federal Communications Commission. Each has a web form.

I'm so sick and tired of having my phone spammed that it has become worth the ten minutes it takes to do all of this. Let's take these harassers down people!

    I have been recieving  one call from SERVE POWER, sometimes two or three calls a day from them  every  single day .  This has been going on now for at least six months.  When i answer the call the line is always just blank so I just hang up.   My caller ID says Serve Power 845-765-4843.  How can I stop this place from from calling me ?

this company calls all day and into late night hours, but hangs up if I do not answer after the answering machine picks up. SICK TO DEATH of these harassing calls

They keep calling and calling - this is week - months
after being asked to be on "Do not call list".

Don't know who they are or why they are calling.

Repeated, unwanted Robo calls.  Can't even reach a human being to say "STOP!"

THEY ALLED ME I TOLD THEM TO F OFF AND DONT CALL ME AGAIN OR ILL SHOVE THAT PHONE UP THIER REAREND PURTO RICAN STYLE .AND I CUSSED THEM OUT TOO THEY LEFT ME ALONE NOW ITS BEEN A WEEK SO FAR.

I answered the call and got a robo message to press 0 to talk to someone.  I pressed 0 and waited a minute to talk to a human.  He asked me for info on my electric bill.  I asked for the name of his company.  HE HUNG UP ON ME.  I then called the number on caller ID (845-765-4843).  I got a recording which immediately asked me to "press 1" if I want to be put on a do not call list.  I pressed 1 and got a message saying they "apologize".  It also said it could take 48 hours to take affect.

Constant calls daily,,,,,,,,,,,,, Called Local utility co. reported to them, Called the Federal trade commission and the PSC,,,,,,, Still the calls continue,,,,,, Who is going to step in and put a stop to this?????????????

My client is disabled. We are keeping track of calls, recording them, their hang-ups, etc. I will prosecute the Company for harassment, because they are to monitor their telemarketers! It's gonna come down! Losers!

If they switch me over without my consent, they will have a lawsuit on their hands----PLUS! The Company is responsible for harassing calls, etc. They need to monitor, or get busted .

I personally note time, date, etc. These idiots have to be stopped! They hang up, call numerous times. This is harassment! E-mail family, friends, etc. to NOT do business with them! Shut the Trolls down for good!

Same crap that other have reported... there seems to be no way to stop the calls... so, I'm determined to waste as much of their time as possible.  They ask for your current electric bill... tell them to hold on while you "find it"... then they'll ask for information from the bill... act confused and have them repeat the question... take as much of their time as you can... they get paid by the number of calls they make... the only way to hurt them is to make them waste time.

I'm sending massive e-mails out about the harassment of this company. I urge all to do the same! I would never do business with pushy companies or charities! I have ceased all donating/ referals, etc. Fed up!

keeps calling both of my numbers, silence but with an open line that doesn't hang up for about a minute.

This number calls EVERYDAY, sometimes twice, and there is no one on the line.  After many weeks of this I called the number back and reached a man who said they were an electric company and could lower my rate.  I explained to them that we do not pay electric as we rent our office and that they need to remove me from their calling list.  He assured me that the number would be removed.  The calls have not stopped.

Scam electricity call.  Trying to switch people to their company.  I've had my account blocked so they can't switch it but they don't take no for an answer. A call everyday for months.

Yup crooks, chiselers and swindlers !! They lock you into their rate and you get raped on their high energy rates. I went with Hudson Energy which is the same scam as these Bozos. Filed a complaint with the PSC and got a $386 refund after they lied and said my utility bills would be lower. Lyin scum bags. They were much higher. Don't fall for this scam.
