My husband and I are receiving these calls 3x a day.  what can we do?

I just resived a call at 4:40 pm est time they called. no massage  the phone number they pick thes time was 1-845-765-4811.

Same crap, diiiferent number, (717-547-5706). It seems that Power Division has migrated to PA.  Several calls each day- no one is there.  You are right Steve - no one can or is going to do anything about this.  I like the airhorn idea !!!

Lately, I've been getting a ton of BS calls.  So, I went back to https://www.donotcall.gov/default.aspx & re-registered my numbers.  Guess I forgot to do that.  Now, I hope it'll settle down.

Beacon NY calls EVERY DAY, all of May.  I have pressed one to be on the DNC list but maybe I should have read what "Dave" wrote back on June 3rd, because pressing one didn't help one bit AND there are several other calls, now, too.  I will simply delete and not answer like I have right along and forget about pressing one.  Should have checked here, first.

Every single day ... This number comes up as POWER DIVISION. , 845-765-4850 comes up a ENERGY PROJECT... several times a day. I called them back, chose the option for the do-not-call list to no avail.

Called and my 10 year old picked up.  The caller asked him if he wanted a b*** j**.  Disgusting!  Apparently the personnel of "Power Division" are pedophiles.   Blocking them immediately.  They should be arrested for their vile behavior towards minors.

NEVER, never, never "press one" at an unknown caller's request. Doing so never does what the caller says it will do. Pressing one simply confirms to the caller that you answered the phone AND that you responded to the message. This type of information is sold to other telemarketing agencies looking for "fresh and active fish". You do NOT want to be listed as " a caller who responds". You'll soon be inundated with calls.

This is why I have not traded my home phone for a cell. My phone system allows me to identify and block all these unwanted callers. It's not perfect, but it better than having no means at all to block these intruders.

LOL I will get an air horn, @ the same # it can also say Energy Protect.

I get called from these F*CKers every day, it says it's from Beacon, NY. I do not know anyone from there so I wont answer their call. Their Scum Suckers, in my book. My guess is that their Telemarketers.

They call EVERY DAY.  I don't answer it, Tonight I did and started pressing buttons over and over, then I hung up.  Also get calls from Info Services, they call 2x every day.  Almost the same number.  On DNC list but it's useless here.....

Have received 7 calls from these f***ers in 2 days (4 calls today alone).  Decided to answer and politely request that my number be removed from their calling list.  Spoke with a very American sounding man named Sean, who asked if I had my bill ready.  When I said no and explained I was calling to remove my phone number, the SOB hung up on me.  (And I swear that I've never been that polite to any of these miserable companies ever before...and won't be again.)

How do we end this?

They call every day and leave no message. It doesn't do any good to "press one"  to be taken off their calling list. the same company uses more than one number plus they use an automated dialing service

Caller ID "Beacon NY" ... @12:01pm EDT? I have blocked this number on my home phone.  This was their 3rd call displaying this number.

My caller ID identified the call from "Power Division."  When will these marketing a..holes learn that leaving a message rather than not doing so would buy them a morsel of credibility?

Verizon wouldn't do that for me.. And couldn't find it on their website..

they have been calling twice a day....no one talks and if you call back then the recorded msg says the number is out of order...now how the hell can that happen?

I got a call from 845-765-4853 just now and I was very stupid because they asked if you do not want this caller to call you press 1, I did and then realized what I had done so I called the number back to see if they had any other message on the machine and they didn't it just repeated the same message .Does this mean that they can get all access of my information and how can I stop it?

Oh my God - 5 times today - "We're calling about your electric bill..." After the first time, it's harassment.

Doesn't help, they just hang up. I hit the key for more info, got PUT ON HOLD, waited for someone to say "to whom do I have the pleasure of speaking?", I started to say "Please remove this number..."
and they hung up on me.

Take my name and number off your calling list.

I get called twice a day from this number. I am on the do not call list. They want me to buy their energy plan.
I have asked them to stop. When I do, they hang up on me. VERY AGGRESSIVE. Will block them.

No message left.  This number has been on my caller id twice a day for the last two weeks.

ID said "Beacon NY". I don't answer if I don't know the number and no message is ever left. It's freaking annoying!

If these calls are coming to your cell phone and you have Verizon they will block either 2 or 3 calls for you for free. Should be on their web site..

Daily calls but not always from same number. This is getting ridiculous.
