I answered the call only to have a man ask me about lowering the rate on my Visa and Master Card.  I asked how he knew I had or did not have the cards. He did not answer. I went on to explain that I am asking for my Identiy was stolen and since that time I no longer have credit cards.  Is there a theft who is using my infromation to open accounts?  He hung up.  I too dailed back only to hear "this call can not be completed as dialed.

Telemarketer from 845-886-6623 now calls everyday to say we are eligible for lower credit card rates. I have tried to stop them from calling, but with no success. I have a sick husband and this is terribly annoying. How does one get rid of these people?

Called back and operator said "Call cannot be completed as dialed"

My Kingston, NY number received a call Aug. 8, 2012 at 4:23 PM stating:
"This is Lisa regarding your credit card account."
I hung up.

Lower cc interest rates

Did a google search and several sites stated that it was an invalid number. One said it was flagged as a telemarketer in Poughkeepsie, New York. It showed SPRING VLY NY on id.

Received a telephone call from this number; 845-886-6623. No one answered, very annoying since I have do-not-call listed for my phone.  This type of calling should be investigated by the FCC.

@Stuart: Are you saying WE should "call (them) every day and hang up"?
