I won't answer if I don't recognize the #. As soon as they know it's a live person on the other end, all hell breaks loose. Let them waste their time waiting for someone to answer. Don't give them the pleasure of arguing with a live person. Let them talk to a machine.

They called and didn't leave a message. Caller ID: "Illinois Call." Very annoying. Is this even a real number?

Received phone call from 847-000-0007, these people are scammers.  They call very aggresively, when requested to put on DO NOT CALL LIST, he refused until I would hear him out.  I then again asked he said If I ask again they will enter my number into multiple calling list and make it that I would have to change my number because of all the calls I would receive.  I reported to FCC , was very abusive on phone.  Caller ID said Illinois.

I got the same type of VULGAR phone calls probably from the same "man".  Too bad they hide behind the telephone. He was nasty.

Most annoying to receive these calls, which always come at inopportune times.

go to www.fcc.gov and also www.donotcall.gov and file a complaint using that number.

Received call from same man described by others, with indian accent. Claimed he was representing my credit card companies (all of them?) and told me I'm paying ridiculously high interest rates and he needed info from me to help me lower my rates. Told him to take me off his call list, he told me "f@#$ you", and hung up the phone. Very disturbing. I filled out a complaint with the FCC. I hope they track down this menace.

had a four missed calls yesterday - reporting to do not call registry

Obvious phishing scam. Man with Indian accent states he's calling from my credit card company, asks for the 7-digit verification number' on back of card, asks for the zip code, asks if it is a Visa, then asks for full credit card number so he can pull up the most recent statement before he transfers the call to the financial officer, who will give a quote on a reduced interest rate because of a good payment history. He cannot identify which company issued the card, but when challenged, he did identify by name all cardholders in my household. When told he would not get the full card number from me, he said "Have a great day" and ended the call.

It's time to call Arnold Diaz on Fox 5 and tell him what going on.

Continue to receive calls from this number about lowering interest rate. Tried to be removed and they were rude and inappropriate. Asked to speak to a manager... they put a "manager" on the phone who started asking me "when was the last time you shaved your p**sy."

847-000-0007, a man with an Indian accent asking me how much I owed out in credit card debt and when I told him I had less than a thousand dollars in credit card debt and didn't need his help and that I wanted to be taken off of their list, that I thought I had already asked to be put on the "do not call list" and why were they calling me. He said that he was calling the number that the credit card company had and it was on the monthly statement that came to my house. I hung up.

Just got a call from them.  He asked me for my CC number starting with 4.
I asked him if he was serious?  "yes, read me the number"
I asked him if he thought I was a a**hole?
He said, that "You are a Di** head"

Whom can I call to lodge a formal complaint??

They claim to be Clark Services of Mastercard and Visa out of Orlando FL.

Just received all about an important message about my credit card account. Didnt hear anything more, hung up.

Called at 6:58 AM.  Message left on answering unit: "Take advantage of financial stimulus and lower your interest rate".  Totally unsolicited!  I will report this to the "Do Not Call" Registry.

I am on the do-not-call list, but still get calls from this number before 6:00 am.  How can I stop them?

Called us at 4:39 AM.  Didn't say anything but did leave a voicemail re: lowering interest on my credit card.  If you dial the number back, you are told it is not a working number.  I wonder how they would like to be woke up in the middle of the night.  I thought it was a family emergency.  It scared me.  We are senior citizens.

5:30 a.m. recorded phone call asking me if I want to lower my rates.
