Seems like she knew more than she should of on me for something I never even open in 2009 ( a credit card) Asking me for a certain amount then it will be closed or it will go to court.

Upon further investigation
I have found their address and verified who the owner is, made an attorney general complaint through the state of new York in which they are located in. I have also sent a formal cease and desist. The recorded phone conversation with a relative of mine and the voice messages I have are a sufficient amount of evidence for a successful lawsuit. You're going down.

Actually.... sheriffs deliver summons in my state. (NYS) I think I would know. Thanks! Also different states have different people who deliver.. AKA: sherrifs, process servers.. never heard of a "runner"

Sounded almost legit until you mention the cops showing up at your door. Cops don't deliver summons, we are call runners

Why don't you pay your bills and stop being so caught up in the trend of thinking all places are scams.

Actually, I received a PRIVATE CALL, but when I checked the message it was for this number, including x206 to be exact.  Talking really fast, probably for me NOT to understand all they were saying.  Said something about blue something but I couldn't understand.  Says she has received a sealed envelope for me and she is based in my county and is supposed to deliver these documents for me to sign.  If she cannot get them delivered to me to sign PERSONALLY she will send them back to the company to file legal documents.  Kicker is...........I'm not even who they were searching for.  My name is NOT introduced on my voicemail. So they have just given me someone elses information. WOW

why dont you people stop scamming other people!!!

It's all a scam until the cops are at your door with a summons like they did to me........... they probably all sound the same because its the same company for the same type of debt for each person.. that doesnt make it a scam

Got a call today, same message. Important, time sensitive, docket number. All cool sounding words but since this number seems to have gone live just this month and we're all hearing the same thing I would say it's the payday loan scam of the month with a new number.

we got a call from same #, however it was not disconnected when we called. they claimed we owed a pay day loan from 2009.. we never took one out so i told them to serve us. and when the court officer showed up, my husband signed for the paper and come to find out my old room mate  had actually taken this out in my name and i have no proof of it other than a police report filed.. no action was taken against her though.


what should I do?! I've looked into getting an attorney, but their advice was to just pay it because I have no proof we didn't take it out, since it was done online from our computer... IP address..

Received a call very similar to your call from an extremely aggressive woman, a Ms. Thomkins, I think, with a company with a name like Arbitration Services, or such.  She said they were representing a payday loan company I have owed for some time, admittedly, as I have only been able to find P/T work the last few years.  She stated I must have money since I have a cell phone?!?!  Though I am currently homeless!!  She made a couple of big mistakes in her handling of this case and a complaint will be filed.  Good luck also.

Received a call from this same number- something about a "breach of contract" and a "summons?" Is this a scam? Attempted to call the number back but a message came on that the number had been disconnected.
