i am constantly getting this number and couple other numbers and they are collectors the worse part is that they are looking for steve brown who has been using my cell number to avoid them so i get harassed about it. i have told them and others that he does NOT have this number and i give them what i assume is his current number but yet they still call me and they don'e leave a message either.

I have gotten two messages on my voice mail from 847-257-8339 in the past week.  Both of them used "robovoices" to ask me to hold for a very important message, then hung up.  I did a reverse lookup on the number and it seems that it belongs to Asset Recovery Solutions, a debt collector that is notorious for pestering people for debts that don't exist (and indeed, I have no outstanding debts).  I'm wondering how I ended up on their call list and how I can get off it.

Asks for a Deborah Huber.  Says its Asset Recovery for Premeire Bank Card.  Getting sick of these calls.  My last name hasn't been Huber for 9 years and I haven't had a premeiere Bank card either.

received call @4:27pm pdt  left no message.  called back they were looking for someone who had my number more than 2 yrs ago.  

Yeah they just called me looking for someone who does not live here. I just do the same thing I always do with these idiots now?. keep a compressed air driven boat horn handy and blow it into the phone and hopefully blow out their damned eardrum.

This country better start cracking down on these people...debt or not people can't do it today! Plus the harassment is crazy...your treated terribly and there isn't a law to stop this. If people had the money they would pay but really enough is enough...get a grip!

Called said he was with Sallie-Mae even though I had already took care of it through another company, he began to get irate with me, where I could not get a word in edgewise. I was upset due to his vulgar language, should be reported because no one needs to be treated like that, I called them back to ask for a manager and they have me on hold for a long time so I am not going to play their games.

Called claiming to have picked up an old collega loan from Sallie Mae. Though that loan was paid off completely. They asked for personal information like DOB, Last 4 of SS number. When I refused to give either and asked for their name and company so that I could report them to BBB the woman on the other end got nasty. Started calling me trash and other names saying that I was a low life for not paying my bills. Again...said loan was paid years ago and I asked again for her name and company she works with. To only get hung up on. These guys are scammers. They prey on people by claiming they can put you in Jail for fraud, put you in jail for theft....talk to your bosses or whatever else they can say to scare you into paying for something you do not owe. Just ignore them and put them on the block list. Tell them not to call you again and that from this point on every time they call the number they use and the date and time will be written and sent into Better Business.

Calls, rings phone, hangs up when I answer.  I put them on my Blocked Callers list on my iphone after checking out the number here. Once someone like this starts calling your number, that's it, they won't stop.  Put them on your blocked numbers list if they are calling your cellphone.

Just another PREDATORY and FAKE bill collector.  Do not believe anything they say ~ they are a scam.

IFolks, if they call your cell phone, save that number and then save it to your "reject call list" or "blacklist" . Most of the cellphones nowadays have this feature, so use it!!!!!!  You will never hear them call you again b/c it automatically redirects that call to these lists!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

They called me on my cell phone and asked for someone whose hasn't lived here in over a year. I have no idea how they got my cell phone number but I told them they had the wrong number. When I hung up from them, my home phone rung - Same person. They asked for this same person which I told them that the person they are wanting hasn't lived here in well over a year and I have no idea where they were. He got nasty with me so in return, I told him to kiss my a** and don't call this number again.

A woman tells me that she needs to transfer me to another line.  A guy then answers the call and tells me that he is from Asset Recovery systems collecting for Sallie Mae.  I don't have a student loan from Sallie Mae.

Not only is it asset recovery solutions for someone else, but they somehow accessed my tasks on my phone and put an entry "call back 847-257-8339"!  How the hell did they do that?

FRAUD alert!!! just got a call claiming i owe a debt when i am Not even delinquent on anything. these are scammers who said they will not call again after I offered to call the sheriff and reminded them electronic harassment carries a 15 year sentence.

There are 3 debt collectors claiming to own the debt which was originally owed to HSBC.  what a joke -- how can 3 diff companies own the debt. DONT PAY SCAVENGER DEBT COLLECTION AGENCIES

how many debt companies are claiming the same debt?? (the answer is three), so ignore all of them, as HSBC wrote off then debt and these scavenger debt agencies try to make money off bad accounts

These folks ('Jack Abrams' and 'Mitch Miller') call and ask a million questions trying to figure out who owns the phone number but won't share a shred of information about themselves or their company.  What a waste of time.

I keep getting calls for the same Keanu Love every work day around the time I put my daughter down for a nap. The calls are collection calls and on my cell phone.

They are trying to collect a debt for hsbc bank.....this debt is so old that I have a current account with hsbc and when I asked hsbc they said i had no debt and have been in good standing since my account was ipened 3 years ago....the hsbc account this collector is referencing is 15 years old....i told them to hold while i valled hsbc on the 3 way and they hung up....and continue to call.....you wil have to soeak with them ti get their info to write a cease and desist letter.

Some lady called my wife and would not give her any information on why they were calling unless she verified her DOB.  She refused and they hung up on her.

For years we have been receiving calls from a collection agency looking for Keanu Love.  There is no one at our house by that name.  There never has been, not is now and to our knowledge never will be as we are beyond our child bearing years.  In the past we have hung up or said there was no one here by that name and they keep calling.  Here's what I'm starting to do--every time they call I'm recording the date,  time and phone number they call from.  This will be reported to our state attorney general's office and legal action will be taken against them.  This has gone on far too long.  I now consider it harassment and it will stop one way or the other.

This person call my home everyday. it appears on my caller Id and then they call my cell at my job. i have been just ignoring the calls. First time  I answer and the person hung up in my face. I have my phones on the do not call list which has not help what should be done?.
