They would never tell me the actual name if the company they worked for. They kept saying they're the "policy administrators for Volkswagen" when I asked.
When I told them I wasn't going to pay $3700 for an extended warranty for a 7 year old car she got agitated and hung up on me.

Called my cell phone today, asked for my husband, and hung up after I asked who was calling. Tried calling back but recorded message saying closed and to call back 7:00-4:00 Pacific Time.

Got a call asking about the warranty of my car. Asked me about the mileage on my car. Told him I wasn't sitting in front of my car to know the mileage and he said thank you and hung up.

Multiple calls and no message. I tried to call back and all I get is"our office is closed".

Saw # several times on caller ID, no messages. Answered it today. Male voice with strong far eastern accent asked for my husband by name, struggling with pronounciation. I asked 'who is this' and they disconnected. Could be an auto warranty marketer as we recently had a mailing with an offer. Won't answer again.

Calling daily this week. Internet search indicates Elk Grove IL origin. I volunteered for Obama in 2008, possible connection? Volunteers make a lot of phone calls from their homes.
