Sounded like a sales call from a 12 year-old girl. She didn't identify the company, and was trying to get my info. for car insurance quotes. Since I didn't ask them to call me, I gave them false info. She told me that there would be insurance agents calling me with quotes. Later that day I received three calls from three different agents with "American Family Insurance" who said that I had submitted an online request for info. So, apparently the girl was collecting info. to submit online. I will make a DNC complaint.

received a call from this number on my cell phone.  I picked up and by the time I said "hello" for the 2nd time, they hung up.

The caller hung up once our recorded message started.  I called back and was told they were checking auto insurance information.  I advised that I was reporting this number on the national do not call database and to the PA Attorney Generals Office.

Just read somewhere else on this site that the company will often identify themselves as "Indiana Auto Insurance" or "Alabama Auto Insurance" or "Ohio Auto Insurance". But the number is based in Illinois, under [Arlington Heights, Illinois (Broadwing Communications, LLC - IL)] Their number is (312)-791-0985.

I got the call mid afternoon and, since I like to screen my calls, I let it go to VM.No message was left. Later that day I looked the number up. Do to the fact I am looking for a job and looking up numbers is the best way to know what possible job you might have. Now most of 99% of the time any job that can't leave a VM isn't true. So I find this page and see that the last entry was over a month old. I call the number just to see if this business was still in operation and it is. My only question now is why hasn't the Illinois system looked in to this?

Received call from this number at 10:15am on my cellular. I did not answer and they left no message. I have been getting calls from these mysterious unknown numbers for about three months. What list did I get on? OR who sold my number to these companies that have the balls to call a phone number on the "DO NOT CALL" Registry?

I just checked my sons cell phone while he was at school and found a missed call from 8473053965, no message was left, from the posts here I assume it is some kind of an insurance scam. I dont know why they would call a 10 yr old??? im going to change his number!

Called many times, never left a message.  They called this morning at 6:12 AM!!!!!!!!

I got a call on my cell around 5pm. I put my phone on silent during the day cause I work in an office, so I didn't get to answer. My boyfriend kept telling me he thought it was a collection agency. I didn't want to call the number back, so he did from his phone. It didn't even ring & some Indian guy come on the line saying "Hello? Hello?" Then the guy says... "I'm calling to verify your car insurance information." My boyfriend just hung up.
I myself don't own a car. I have no idea why they would call me.
Sounds fishy.

They keep calling me trying to high pressure me into listing my home with them. Why would I use a substandard, un-proven, new company? When I can use listing agents with a real reputation for success? I predict this agent and her business is going to POP.

I am unemployed and these hackers keep calling me when I am counting flowers on the wall, playing solitare till dawn with a deck of 51, smoking cigaretts and watching Captain Kangaroo.  I wish they would stop.

This is the second call that appears to be from an Auto Insurance place within the past 24 hours!
I have been online comparing quotes from various Insurance carriers BUT have never used my Cell number as a contact. I have used my VOIP number. Somehow they appear to be psychic and call my cell number

Now I have been calling back to give them hell, and they have hung up on me three times.

3 calls back to back late evening, like some emergency was going on. I did not answer and no message was left. I do no t answer  unknown callers. But it's quite aggravating.

After receiving this call twice at 10pm, and reading these posts, I decided to block my number and call them back. A man with an accent answered with an insurance statement. I told him he's been reported to the state commissioner's office as a scam and to stop thier so-called business immediately. He hung up :)

2 CALLS, 1 IN THE LATE EVENING AND ONE IN MID MORNING THE NEXT DAY.  NO MESSAGE.  I AM ALSO ON THE DO NOT CALL LIST.  THESE CALLS ARE QUITE ANNOYING!!!!

(847) 305-3965 called late at night yesterday. I did not pick up the call as I did not recognize the number, they left no message.

Got a call on my cell phone from 847-305-3965.  Foreigner jacked up my name and said they were calling from "Ohio Car Insurance"  and wanted to verify information.  I told her I was not with that company and she again stated that she needed to verify info.

The crappy thing is that you get a call about auto insurance and it gets you wandering if someone is trying to file a false claim or just how much of your info is out there that scammers are trying to steal.

This telemarketer scammer knew our name.   Said she was looking for ________.   I said, who's calling?  She identified herself as Arizona Car Insurance.  The caller I.D. was 847-305-3965.
  Funny, I also had a salesmen knocking on my door today named Colon.  He and someone else wanted me to open my door and get to meet me.  I did not open my door.  I told him i did not know him.  HE said, "well, I'd like to meet you."
The harassment caller said they'd call again.   I am on the Do-Not-Call list and I am reporting this on their website, filing a complaint today!!   I don't think they were really a telemarketer, but probably a con.
