Call came into home, when answered, no one spoke, eventually hung up

A call came to my cell, did not answer, do not know who they are.  I called the same number from work, it says that this number is not in service....go figure, I bet that if I call from my cell, they will answer.  So I do not know who they are and I blocked this number from my cell.
