I recently got a call from Fleet Maddox or Fleetmatics (?) from a man...not sure if Diana and him are related, but he asked to speak to the owner by name.  I put him on hold and he hung up.  I suspected it was a sales call. It was a Charlotte number 704-716-7662.

Yeah, Diane from 847-463-7632 left me a message one day like she was a business acquaintance - I've never heard of her.  The next day she left a message saying we had spoken a few weeks ago & I asked her to call me back so we could schedule a meeting - LIAR.

The caller left me a voice mail message saying her name was Diane and that a "Tom Daughtry at <garbled> Deli asked her to call me."  She asked me to call her back at 847-463-7632.

Diana with Fleet Maddox, or Fleetmatics, or whatever, just called asking to speak to my boss, the fire chief.  He was out and I took a message.  She wants to discuss potential business with him too! LOL  Oh yeah, FYI, her cell # is now 224-425-0480.

Pretty much the same bs here too. Dianna called asking for my boss by name. Said that she 'use' to work for AR Public Construction (which of course we've never heard of). And also told me that the (847)463-7632 was her cell #. Thing is, she didn't sound legit from the get go. Just had that telemarketer type of voice.

Just got a call from Diana @847.463.7632 saying she was with Connectivity Wireless.  When I told her my boss was in a meeting, she threw out the COO's name from CW and said they had sent him an email.  False!

Diana called to speak to my boss claiming she has done business with Jeff Maynard at Sunstate Electric and wanrs to talk to my boss about potential business. Claimed this number left was her cell phone.

Diana called and asked for the owner saying she was referred by Teams Electric.

Alan called from (847)463-7615 and asked for my boss by name and said he was referred by Jim Davis at US Lawn and would like to speak with my boss about a possible project he would like him to work on. I asked the address of the possible project and he said he had a couple possible residential and one hotel coming up but they had done work with our company before. So I asked after hearing the residential/commercial what company he was representing and he rudely said US Lawn for Jim Davis and then he says "you know what never mind". Idiot left his number and when I called him back his voice mail picked up for Alan, no company, and I straight up told him I am the office manager and I would be happy to assist him further but he would need to be honest with me if it were a sales call. Then I find this and I guess I pegged him. Jerks!!!

Seems this 'Diana' is a busy girl on this board!  She just called me and disguised herself as a person who was referred to our President by another company within our industry.  This is obviously her method of operation -- find out the industry the business is in and then lie and say you have been referred by Mr. So-and-so at X company.  She's a liar, and redneck, and a loser.  Diana, if you are reading this post -- get a real job, honey!

"Allen" called last week saying the Jim w/ Hunter Construction (for the record, the owner knows of no such person) referred him to the owner in regards to a couple of jobs he has in the Orlando area that he needs to get done. He elludes to the fact that he has work he would like for our construction company to do for him.

He contines to call, but now says he is with Fleetmatics.  When asked what they do he now says they are a GPS service for fleet vehicles.

Calls saying he has an appointment and needs owner's (which he asks for by name) cell #....

Allen called our office this morning and asked to speak with the owner, when I told him that he was not in and I could take a message, he stated that he was referred to us by Jim @ Universal Drilling regarding potential business and would not disclose any further information.  When I asked what company he was with, he stated that he was with Universal Drilling as well.  Seems like Alan sure works for a lot of companies based on the above threads.

After reading this thread...Allen is still up to the same telemarketing tactic.  He did exactly the same thing with our company.  He asks for the owner by name and proudly states that he was referred by......

Also had a man named "Allen" call & say he was refered by someone we do actually know locally & he said he needed some work done.  I asked him the address of the are needing the work & he said he didnt have this info yet.  I then googled the phone # and found that they were calling alot of people and harrasing them. I called him back and asked him what the name of the company was and he said he was with the local company that he originally said he was refered by. I then called him out as a telemarketer and he immediately hung up on me.

"Alan" called from this number and asked for our CEO by name. Our CEO is hardly ever in the office and when he is in, he is usually in meetings. When I ask "Alan" to leave a message he states he is calling in reference to potential business and he was referred by Allied Roofing. When I ask them to take our number off their list, I get hung up on and then they keep calling back.

"Alan" called from 847-463-7615 asking, by name, for one of the company's owners.  When asked what the call was regarding, "Alan" said he was referred to our owner by Hayden Pools and that he wanted to talk to him regarding potential business.

called this number which was a cell number i called a few times thinking i misdialed, the person who answered ended up having their lawyer contact me back stating i was harassing them. So i dont think its a company number.

caller left a message saying she, "Diana" was referred by Ryan (someone we don't know) and she needed to talk to my boss-no way I am calling back after reading this!

Allen called from 847-463-7615 and asked for my Boss, when I asked what this was regarding he told me he was given our name by Loyal Pest Control Nick Davis, I asked a few more questions and gave it to my Boss. My Boss was on the phone with him maybe 2 mins and hung up. Allen then called back about 3-4hrs later and tells me he was given our name by Fosters Plbg and Htg(Who we know well and know didnt happen) and he rudely hung up in my face! >:[

However when I called back to complain I spoke to Ken who is the supervisor, I didnt ask to speak to him The operator offered for me to speak to me, Very nice man, very polite and very apologetic and insured me that he doesnt train his employees that way and that I would not recieve another call from them.

This woman called for my employer and said that she was referred by Park Landscape Services.

Diana also called for my boss. She said she was referred to him by her boss Miles Teems, with Teems Electric. LIAR!!!

My boss received a message from Diana at 847-463-7632. He asked me to call and find out what it was regarding.  She said she was referred by a John Howard and it was a potential business matter but would not give me any information and said it was confidential.  She was very rude.

After googling the number and finding this thread, I called her back and told her to remove our number from her listing.  She hung up on me.

Caller called and asked for my boss. When I asked her name she said Diana. I asked what company she was with and she said I'm not really with a company but I was referred to him by Caldweld Electric. She said it was in regards to potential business.

Obviously she is lying.

I also keep getting a call from 847-463-7632.  Lady stated she was calling my boss for her boss.  Her name was Dianna and she claimed to be with Aarons Cleaning Service.

The caller called for my boss,  when told I did not know when my boss would be in but I was happy to take a message for him.....The man was very rude and hung up the phone.
