Just wanted to add a PS to my recent post. I just looked this company up with the Better Business Bureau, and Ageatia was given an A+ rating. OUCH! Guess the best bet is to be suspicious of everyone and keep personal info to yourself until you are absolutely sure the person you are giving it to is legit.

My brother got a call from this company and was very suspicious that the so-called recruiter had a very American name and  a very Indian accent. My brother called me later in the day to say he had found this website and concluded it was probably a scam.  Sure enough, he was asked for the last four digits of his SSN, which he refused to give. Later in the day he called his insurance company, and the final question the agent asked was the last four numbers of his SSN. Having you name, address, phone number and last four digits of your SSN can give people all sorts of access to your personal accounts, so consider those four numbers sacred.

Just found out the application they send you is for another company that they have somehow gotten off of a website. Spoke with the owner of the company they are using the application from. He had identity theft last year and now someone from this company is using it. The "recruiter" said he is recruiting for SC Johnson in Wisconsin, I checked their website and they are not hiring for this position.

So would you recommend looking into the position?  I couldn't understand the guy.  I got an email claiming he was contacting me because of my resume and he wants me to send him my resume.  This confuses me.

This person has been calling my cell phone at least twice a day while I am at work for the last few days.  I can barely understand anything he says in the multitudes of messages he leaves on my phone.  All I catch is "very good job opportunity" and "Fortune 100".

There are a lot of India based or India populated recruiter outfits these days.
I have been contacted by this number and from an email of the same company before and it was a legit position.
Most of the recruiters I have been contacted by, from different companies, have been of Indian descent.

It's an Indian recruiting company called Ageatia.
They called me and even sent me an email from a recruiter calling himself "Steve B.." though the guy had a heavy indian accent.
I responded that I'm not interested in their job offer. However, they're just not quitting!! They keep calling and leaving me voicemails. I honestly suspect these guys are using VoIP with a registered number here in the States.
If you get a call from such a company, check out their contact information including listed addresses. You'll be surprised at what you'll find.

Some Indian scammers trying to cheat hardworking people.  Told me they are a "recruiting agency" for Fortune 100 companies.  Yeah, right.  I doubt that a recruiter wouldn't be able to speak English.

Received numerous calls in one day-no verbal messages left-instead I was left with a musical recording. Spoke with Jack???  very bad broken english. I warned Jack that this number was on a do-not-call list and that proper legal action will be taken by authorities. Jack promised to take my cell phone of the company list

All of the above plus they made arrangements for an interview. Received several calls in two days then they disappear. Emails have attachments for representing you with their client. the web site leads no where.

Very suspicious! Bad English for real recruiter. Asking for SSN's last digits.  If I know where to call and report my doubts I will do imminently!

Appears to be from Ageatia, very hard to understand due to extreamly heavy accent, possibly a job shop agency of some sort.  Also sounds like a recording resending itself repeatedly, or the caller repeats the messages nearly the same each time, unintelligible word for unintelligible word.
