Same thing happened to me.  I gave them bunch of bs info.

I also received an e-mail from United Federal Credit Union.  This institution exists and is located in Michigan.  They are aware of this scam and have notices on their website (www.unitedfcu.com).  What is interesting is the area code they tell you to call is located in Illinois (just north of Chicago) where they supposed credit union has no offices.  Upon calling this number you realize quickly that it is a scam as it asks for your SSN, DOB, etc. but never an account number.  If you want to have fun with them keep calling it and putting in fake SSN and other info.  It's time we strike back at these idiots.

This is a fraudulent number - DO NOT CALL or give any personal information to this number.  It is not associated with any credit union and should not be called.  If you have given personal information via this number please contact your financial institution immediately.

Got an email from some kind of credit union with this phone number to call.  It looks fraudulant.  I am not calling them.  If they don't know MY phone number and choose to buy my email address then they are not getting a call from me.

Got a call from this number saying it was some kind of credit union and had suspended my account. I don't know what this is about.
