These guys are dirt bags. They called about a debt for company I worked for, they called my house, my cell and even my parents. I didn't even have anything to do with the department that they should have been contacting. They weren't calling the office, just me and they were very harassing, rude, very creepy and called several times from blocked numbers, which is illegal and you can sue them for 1000.00 under the fair debt collections practices act for doing so. FYI

This is a law firm who is known as Brown & Joseph. They are hired by Commercial Companies to collect debts. Basically, it is a law firm who specializes in collecting debts (pretty much the same as a debt collecting agency). For example, they may refer to the name of a church that you are (or were) affiliated with and refer to the church name and the words "Accounts Payable" to collect a commercial debt. They should be calling the Actual Business (commercial) NOT YOUR PRIVATE home phone number. We never returned their calls because they continued to use the name of the church (St. James Lutheran Chicago at 7200 W Foster Ave, Chicago, IL 60656), which we are NOT affiliated with and have never been affiliated with this church.  Period. We INTENTIONALLY ignored the phone calls, called our Phone Company to put a "Block" on the phone number.
