I was called twice in an hour by a man claiming he was calling from Lender 411. Their webpage does not exist. He claimed he was calling about a mortgage that I had applied for online. He also had a NYC accent.

they call everday and no one is on the line they hang up, its driving me crazy!!!

got a call from this number.  Person speeching was of Indian descent.  Could not understand him at all.  He advised me not to use my computer or go on the internet.  He was going to help me with some simple steps to do something with my computer.  I do not want these calls.  I dont knowt these people or company and of course you can't reach them when you call back.  STOP THE BS.  LEAVE US ALONE.

Got a call saying they were from Com Ed.  Gave me an account number and 800 number to call back.  Called the 800 number and a machine answered for CCS.  I think it is the debt collection service, Credit Control Services.

Looks like my computer phone is getting hang ups from these a***oles now.  I dont understand how this constantly happens.  It's like everybody we know is secretly handing out our number!  LOL....

Got call from 847-631-2785 at 4:10 pm may 9. Wanted to verify my name, adress to send me a gift card for $150 for gas, just needed my credit card no for the 4.95 handling fee. Had to hang up, then got a call from his boss trying to convince me it was not a problem - his id was 847-631-1838.

Called 3 times.  First time caller ID had unknown, 2nd time had 708Out of Area and 3rd time had this number.  Wanted to speak to my boss, boss is out for lunch so wanted voice mail.  Told her boss doesn't want people in his voice mail he doesn't know.  Offered to take her name and number and have him call her back.  Insisted she wanted voice mail, again I offered to take message but she didn't want to to that so I hung up.

This person keeps calling. When I returned call it was busy.

This number keeps showing up on our caller ID...busy signal when we tried calling it.  Can someone just shut these scammers down??

That caller had called my cell and didn't leave a message. I when I had called the number back it was a busy signal. I am tired of these callers!

I got 3 harassing phone calls from the same group that tried scamming me about being under investigation a few months ago. This phone number immediately rang me next.

Got two called when my phone was off. The caller did not leave a message. I called back and the line is always busy. Maybe some kind of spammer.

My wife called me from Japan using skype. The # 1-847-631-2785 showed up as an Elk Grove Village Illinois Tel #  on my phone.

Receive a call on 10/21/09 from 847-631-2785 at 9:55pm at my job and hip hop music was playing.  Still trying to figure out who is using this number to make harrasing phone calls.

I got a call from this number on 8/25/09 @ 1:24 am in the morning and I was sleeping so I missed the call. I called this number the next day several times only to get a busy signal. I will file a complaint as well

Caller from 847-631-2785 "Business yellow pages" wanted to 'verify' my name, phone number and address and fax number 'to send me our free phone book - the 2010 edition". To deliver our free phone book on May 21 "Will I be available to take this delivery?". What company does she represent? I balked and wouldn't give her my fax number, put her on hold to 'get my current business yellow pages directory' and then she hung up.

I continue to get calls from this number and will also file a complaint.

Got a call today at 0830.  They just hang up.  It has to be a machine calling to verify a live person answers.

Yesterday I got one from 847-631-1838 at 0730 and got the same deal.

I am going to the FTC to file a complaint...
