Recently I got a call from this number. They didn't leave a message I didn't call them back.

Receive a call from 847-645-486. missing a las digit. Keep receiving the call every day!

I have had the same experience as all the others.  I've never answered it since my cell phone is an emergency only phone and its number is never given out.  I decline the call but they have called twice, yesterday being the latest.  I have registered this number with DNC list but obviously that didn't work here.  Of course these people could just be dialing every number in a range.

Same thing as many others.  No last digit and has called twice at the same time (my guess is an automatic dialer).  I did not answer but not message was left.

Same as others - no last digit, no message. This call has come on my cell phone at 2:30 in the morning, in the evening, and while I am at work. Very annoying. I've never answered it.

Same as jack from 05/18/09.  Automated carpet cleaning call.  No last digit. Called my cell phone.

Just got this call on my cell phone. Same thing -- Carpet Care. Also, no last digit on the phone number that popped up on Caller ID. If I get another one, I'll be calling the FTC.

Same thing happened to me.  When I did a reverse phone number search, Switchboard or Intellius or whoever it was said I could pay to get info on the phone number.  I declined.

Sounds like this guy is calling everybody!

I got the call today on my cell so I answered it and followed the prompt to book a cleaning, I asked the person how they got my cell number and he hung up on me. It sounds like my Provider (Cell or the Bank) is selling numbers again.

me too.  same phone number missing the last digit, recorded message advertising carpet cleaning.

i'm on the DNC list...good to know that means nothing.

I got the call as well. It was selling carpet cleaning. I got an operator and got someone in an Indian Call center. I asked for their phone number but they wouldn't give it to me. I did get the name.. it is called "Carpet Care"... I asked for the location and he wouldn't give it to me.. He told me that they "have many locations in Chicago".. They called my cell phone so I am VERY upset.. As I am checking this site I see 4 responses to your email so they are calling a lot.. We all need to be calling and complaining so they can get these people... If I find out more information I will post it on here..

I got the same call today around 1:45. i missed the call and there was no message...strange.

Same thing just happened to me...I didn't answer and I didn't get a message.

I recieved a phone call from the number 847-645-486   The last digit was missing from the caller I.D.

and when I answered, no one responded on the other end. this is the second time this happened to me with the last digit missing and both times no one talked on the other end.

The first time was on a LG cell phone which is now not working.... the second time (May 11th 2009) was on my samsung cell phone and I saved the number

Although I do not know what the last digit is.... Im doing a search for that phone number starting with 0 and going through 9.

It seems a bit strange that both times the last digit was missing and both times no one answered on the other end.

Maybe someone can solve this mystery
