been having EXACT same problem with this number exept we did meet with them and told the rep we weren't interested anymore due to thier rude and imposing methods of calling several times within an hour.  He left and we STILL get several calls a day......

Had a call from one guy who wanted to set a meeting with his guy that would be in my location tomorrow.  Wanted to see about how we could work together in the trucking industry.  Started asking questions about my revenue from my business per year, and I told him I didn't give out that kind of information on the phone when I wasn't sure of who I was talking to.  I ended the conversation that perhaps I would be available for meeting on 11/15/07 @ 11:00 but it would depend on how busy I was tomorrow morning whether I could take a meeting or not.

Next hour another man called me about the company and having this meeting at my home address which I said absolutely not.  When I got back to my office he called again and this time I could see the name of the company and waited for a voice mail.  He didn't leave one.  

I decided to look up the company phone number and found it on the list of other numbers listed with IPA.

This number keep calling on a daily basis, I tell them the owner is not in, and nobody wants to leave a message.

I just received a call from these people but they hung up before they said anything. So I did a little looking around on Google and found this site along with the problems everyone else have been having... They have now been officially blacklisted from our phones! I installed a Trixbox PBX system and it makes it easy to see who is calling and to block these calls. If they are on my blacklist, all they hear is.... This Number Is Not In Service. It has greatly, greatly cut down these calls into our office.

A guy calls and says "yeah John please."  When I reply he doesn't take calls the guy then says "What do you mean he doesn't take calls?"  I then tell him he can leave a message and he snaps something along the lines of "Thanks." and hangs up on me.

Same story as everybody else!  This time it was a Lyndsey Discenzo calling from Joe Hayden's office. "What do you mean he doesn't know me?  We work together in business."  I dialed the IPA # back from my phone, lodged a complaint with the woman who answered and told her about all these complaints online(!!) after I read all of them!  Not sure it will do any good though.

Called but I saw the number and it looked strange. If they want to speak to you let them leave a message. Caller ID is wonderful!!

THIS NUMBER IS TIED TO INTERNATIONAL PROFIT ASSOCIATES, INC. THEY ARE A 'BUSINESS CONSULTING FIRM' WHO SELL CONTRACTS FOR HUGE ILLEGAL PROFITS. THEY ARE BEING SUED BY SEVERAL SMALL COMPANIES ON CHARGES OF BUSINESS FRAUD IN THE FEDERAL COURT SYSTEM.
DON'T HAVE ANYTHING TO DO WITH THEM. DO NOT GIVE THEM YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION OR ALLOW THEM IN YOUR BUSINESS!!!

I forgot- the number they gave me was 800-531-9585.  I dialed *67 first and then the number.  When they answered they answered IPA and I asked what kind of business they were in.  I hope this helps, at least you could try the number too.  Don't forget to dial the *67 to hide your number from them.

They just called & said they were with the office of Rick Deless.  Wanted to talk to the owner.  I said he was on the phone & would be a while.  Terry Perkins is the person I spoke to & he wanted to wait.  I told him it would be a while.  He then said he would call back later.  They just wanted to talk about sending business our way.  Gave me an 800 number to call back, tried it and answered it IPA.  I asked what the company did and they said they do everything from helping out your business with all kinds of issues.  Ways to save or make money, tax issues, business plans etc...

Google "International Profit Associates" and you'll know a lot more about these harrassing jerks than they know about you.  Keep reporting these abuses to the Do Not Call List complaint section.  They may take action if they get enough complaints.

At work, I received a call from someone who just said, loudly, "Uh... yeah... is this part of some larger publishing network?" Usually these are sales calls directed at trying to sell us printing services. I answered, "Yes, it is." He said, "Yeah, um... and where are THEY located?" I told him and he said, "Thanks." Then he hung up. Not that annoying of a phone call, just pointless. It's not information someone needs to call about. My guess, let me emphasize GUESS, is this person represents at least 1 of the companies that calls us for the above stated purposes. At least it sounded like they may be getting the hint.

This guy calls constantly. It sounds like the same guy to me every time. He asks for the owner by his first name acting like he is a friend who is just casually calling to chat. When I tell him he is not here (which he is normally but he refuses to take these types of stupid calls) he asks for his voice mail and I inform him that he doesn't have voice mail he yells profanities at me. I just tell this person I bet his mother is proud of the person he has turned out to be and he normally hangs up.

This guy by the name of "Rob Johnson" called for our owner but became EXTREMELY rude when I asked what company he was with and what it was regarding.  The caller id said "IPA" and the number was 847-808-2304.  When I told him the owner was not here and asked to leave a message for him he TOLD not asked me to transfer me to his voice mail.  I informed him he had no voice mail and that I was his voice mail he told me i was lying an told me that indeed we do have voice mail and to send him there "NOW".  I tried explaining that we are a small company and none of us had voice mail here and he argued saying to stop lying and transfer him now so I hung up on him.

Have received a number of calls, twice daily.  When I answer, a voice will ask for a name unknown to me.  When I start to inquire about who is calling, they hang up.

Rec'd phone call from some lady insistent upon talking to me. - I turned that right around in hurry. Who are you? And what should I tell that individual you're calling about?

She then asked for "my name" and I said he's tied up at the moment, and we need to know what this is about. She didn't like that. I then said lady listen real carefully - remove us off of your damn junk call list - never call here again. We can't stand marketing sleazeballs, and dirtbags like you.

She hung up. Go figure. My feelings are now so very hurt. Yeah right.

We are a small aviation company and we receive 3 or 4 calls a day for everything from credit cards to cable tv. Mostly I say no thanks and hang up. This guy called me today and asked to speak to the owner. I told him the owner was not in, so he hung up... I *69 the number and I got connected to IPA (international profit associates). The woman that answered pulled up the owners name and address up from my phone number (they have some kind of caller id) she told me they do tax consulting, employee hiring and general business consults. I told her I was not intrested and she told me they would not anymore, and hung up. Seems shady.

for months this guy calls asking for our owner by name and I always tell him he's not in would you like to leave a name and a number so he can call you back.  Always he says no, I wll try later and I always say that he may not get through if he doesn't leave his name and then he hangs up.  This morning I entered this number in Google to find out who has been bothering us, and it took me to this page.  I have all the same experiences as expressed here, so I decided to call back the number myself from call ID and ask to be removed from their "list".  The lady answered and asked what list.  I said whatever list causes someone to call my office daily looking for my boss and will not leave a name or a number.  He will NEVER get through unless he identifies himself so I consider this constant harrassment.  She asked what number where they calling and I gave my office number and she said it would take 24 - 48 hours to be removed and I said thank you!  We'll see if it goes awya!!

These people have been calling our office in Canada for the last few weeks.  The woman named some company but very quickly (may have been Charles Underwood)  They have called the President of the company by his first name each time.  They appeared to want names of others who may have interest in the company, and even asked if I was an owner when I became impatient with them.  I will be hanging up on them from now on.

They called my extension directly and I did not answer. Went to Voice Mail. I got this nice music and then they recorded my system prompts and played it back to my voice mail. I have since taken this number and have created a call rule to hang up for any phone calls with this number. Waist of time and if they are trying to solict business they are going about it the wrong way...... LOL

Idiot called.  Said his name was Mark Davis.  Wanted to speak with the owner.  I told him that I handled the administrative details for the business and that he would need to set up an appointment through me.  Tried to get a call back number and he said he would be out of the office.  Wanted to call back this afternoon.

Can't wait!

Ha, same number new voice a woman named Candy from Dell Worthington or Witherington.  Whatever, I asked for her name the company she was calling from and why she was calling.  Then there was a pause, I asked if she was still there and she said she was waiting to be transfered.  I told her I can't transfer her until she tells me why she is calling.  She said "that all I have" and I replied "then I can't transfer you" and nicely said "good bye".

Calls about once a week and asks for the owner by name.  i recently started saying he never comes into this office, they hang up and try again next week....

Called and asked for the owner by name like they were good buddy's.  Then asked if we bought and sold construction equipment. Then wanted to talk about data packages.
