I got a text message on Weds. Located the number in Evanston Ill. Called it and got no answer. Must be a scam and by now they surely are being reported. Hope someone gets them.

I have received 4 text messages from these people. I don't do texting, the only part of the message that I know of is what the phone gives. Here are some of them: This is a m...     Happy ea.....   first cre... The only way they got my phone # was from craigs list. These guys are scammers. I looked up the # and it says it belongs to Type: Land Line  Provider: Ovation Communications Location: Evanston, IL

I got this mesaage as well.  I called the credit union and they said to disregard the message.  The lady on the phone said that it was a scam.

B*****ds! LOL... I knew it... I feel sorry for those poor people who jump easily at the first sign of fear. They have the scam going on BIll's SPRINT & I use ATT.NET... what mobile fon provider was yours Cotton-top?

I received this message: This is a message from Spirit of St. Louis C.U.  Your card has been involved in ATM fraud.  Contact us at 8479056991.  I called my credit card customer service.  No problem with my card.  Just someone trying to get your personal info.

Never heard of them. Don't have a card traceable to the registration of this phone... I say it is rubbish scammer
