Getting calls from this and similar numbers all hours of day and night. Kinda getting pissed. Going to block them with my antivirus call blocker, but there just seems to keep being more numbers. I got calls a while back (in the last few months) from some number that has a similar feel to it's tactics, they tried to ask the exact same things as someone above has mentioned. They claimed I owed decade old loans to one of the most well known of college lending firms and because I knew I didn't because I had paid them off to go back to school again and these people were really acting unethical and just plain strange then told me a bunch of stuff about who they thought I was, some was correct but much was waaaay off base including having said I worked at a school, which I never have anything of the sort... THEN demanded I pay them for this loan through another company. when they finally gave me their supposed company name it checked out as a collection company for the lender in name only... and when I called the original lender as I said I would because I was not dealing with these scam artists to find out what it was about, they said yes they use that company, but there is absolutely NO record of me having owed them anything from my old loans. Duh, because I had paid them all off years ago. which I knew. They said they had absolutely no idea why that company was making that claim on their behalf. That damn company is still calling me but I just block the number. I would be VERY careful if anything similar is happening. This number seems to me it could be the same people and it is not legit at all. Hope it helps other people getting this same crap on their phone.

I'm being bombarded with scam marketing calls - Indians trying to sell me yellow page ads, Mexicans trying to get me to donate to the Narcotic Officers Endowment Fund (LOL).  Don't know who this number is, they didn't leave a message, but it's coming out of Jersey (need I say more).

I keep getting calls from this number on both my home phone and business phone.  Can someone help me find out who this is?

I got two calls from this today.. the man claimed that I owed money to a company and wanted to verify my name and last four of my SS#.  I told him that I would confirm anything to a stranger over the phone.  He then yelled at me and said the he would keep on calling until I answer his questions and hung up.  Who are these people?

got a call from this phone #.. they would NOT talk.........guessed it was another SPAM caller.. checking to see what time we were home to answer.!  they should be SHOT !!!

Got a call from this number didn't get a chance to answer before ringing stopped.  Thankfully only gave cell number and the company blocked all calls from this area.

These people have been bothering me for about a year. At first I was getting letters that I owed thousands of dollars and then the phone calls started. The person they are looking for I found on the internet in about 34 seconds but they are too lazy or stupid to do that themselves even after I told them they have the wrong person tien and time again.  I refuse to do their work for them. STUPID STUPID STUPID

Get calls from this number asking for someone else. It's a debt collector. I pay my bills, I just wish they would stop calling my number!

Associated Recovery Systems.  They never leave a message.  I found their number in Escondido CA - (760) 735-2700 - and asked to be removed from their system.  I'm not holding my breath.

They called me today, three times, it is a recovery agency for Capital One.

I have no idea who this is.. anyone?
