SCAM, Dont give them any payments!

Lol, I just called them and I pretended to be scamed, they explained me the procedure about the CVS, the money pack and so on. In a certain point of the conversation, I told them that my call was being dragged by the police who  will find their specific location. I recorded everything what he told me. I just gave them back a little bit of what they made me go thru this pm, ufff. I just hope that one day these criminals are put in the jail. Thank you guys for your postings.

Maritza: This just happened to my mother, fortunatelly I was home in a vacation day. It was very rare bc my husband is like your mother very punctual with the bills specially FPL. The same guy Emilio Gonzalez and the rest of the history. Pero que descarados!!!!!, I just can't stand this. I called the FPL and reported and also I am writing an email. I was told that the appropriate department will contact me. I believe that we shoud submit a groupal complaint in favor of the elderly that may be scamed with this type of call. This number called me and told me that in 20 min my electricity would be cut off. since ive never experienced this situation i fell for it. they told me to go to a specific cvs pharmacy buy a moneypak, to deposit a certain amount, and then give them my card number. The lady went by the name ana luna and that they were a private electric company. they called me at around 12pm on a saturday(which later i come to find out my electric company doesnt work weekends!!!). A TOTAL SCAM BEWARE AND SPREAD THE WORD. an advice to everyone is that if you receive a mysterious phone call from anyone claming to be example,  an electric company, dont give them any information, hang up and call your personal electric company and find out if thats true...

My mother received a phone call on her home phone, the caller ID reflects FPL.  The caller advised that her electricity would be cut off.  The caller gave her this number 1-848-207-5571, caller used the name of Emilio Gonzalez and requested that she provide payment. My sister and I both called FPL and of course, my elderly mother is current on her account as this generatiion is up to date on their responsibilities even on a fixed income.  I have called the number approximately 40 times, no answer, left voice mails.  THIS IS A SCAM.  I believe that FPL should conduct an investigation because the caller ID is reflecting FPL. While this is clearly a SCAM, it is of importance that FPL conduct an investigation because they could receive complaints from the Public Service Commission that they are scamming their customers.  Please make every effort to contact FPL and report.  My advise to my mom: next time anyone calls you and advised that they are turning off your lights, tell them to go ahead and do that, my sister and I will take it up with the utility company!!!

This company called stating that I was going to have my electricity cut-off. They demanded my last statement date and amount. They claimed to be FP&L, which is my current electric company. I asked to call them back and this is the number they gave me. I called within a few minutes and requested  their address but was. Hung up on. I called again to have an automated system from magic jack stating the number was not working any longer.

A woman acting to being an agent from the electric company called my home and told my mom our electicity was going to be disconnected. She gave them my number and when I told them we had paid she wanted to know what date it was paid on. I then told her I would have to check my bank account and call her back she gave me this number. When I called back now asking them questions they hung up on me. When I called them again they had their magic jack disconnected but only from the phone number I was harrasing them on.  If I called with another phone a lady would answer acting to be an agent from an electric company.

This number has called me in Stockton California, it is a scam

They just call my house and told my husband they will be cutting our electricity. I contacted the electric company and my payments are current. My husband give them my cell when they call me they told me they were a collection agency I asked him the name of the electric company and he hung up the phone. This is scam. I call the number back and the line was bz.

I received a call from this number saying that my electricity would be cut off.  i called the electricity company and they said that they had not called and that my account was current.  I called the number back that called me and asked them what company i used and he didn't know. Then i asked him my address and he only gave me the number but he did  not know my full address.  

this is definitely a scam so do not give any information or credit cards if you receive a call from this number

They said that they were going to cut off our electricity in 20 minutes if we didn't pay with a moneypak, well we obviously still have our electricity...
