Got a call but didn't pick up because number looked weird. Reading from the above post, if it's Healthy Kids or Kid Care, it is a legit phone call. I'm trying to get health care for my kids, so this must be it. It is not a sales call because this is health care provided through the state. It's actually a good thing.

Be careful, Florida Kid Care or Florida Healty Kids or Staywell is an out and out Scam. When I contacted them to have my name removed form their calling list they hung up on me. When I called back they immediately asked me for my social security number. Only an overtly crooked outfit would do that. When I asked again to remove my number from their list or put my number on their "do not call" list they told me they wouldn't do it. I asked to talk to a supervisor and they hung up on me.

Be advised!! Do not give them money!! Do not agree to anything over the phone. If they persist, call the police.

They called me at 8:30pm on a Saturday and then hung up. Then when I called back, I got an automated message stating they were close.  They are ridiculous.

I got a call from this number 850-201-1111 and when I answered the phone, the call disconnected.  who are they?  why would Florida Kid care have such a phone call system?  crazy!

I just got a call from 850-201-1111. They left a voice message. It was Florida Kidcare to let me know that the premium for my childs healthcare has increased and to make sure my next payment, that the increase is included.

no one said anything and they hung up on me.

Didn't answer call but thay they did leave an automated message.  Call is from The State of Florida KidCare program.

That's the company that works for FHK. That's the name of their company. And from what I was told when I spoke to my friend who works there, there was a glitch with their phone system and it was calling families by mistake. They should have gotten it fixed by now. But it's a legit number and they aren't scamming you.

I HAVE BEEN RECEIVING CALLS FROM THIS NUMBER FOR MONTHS AND WHEN I ANSWER THEY NEVER SAY A WORD. I THINK THIS IS BAD PRACTICE AND COULD BE CONSIDERED HARASSING CALLS BY LEO IF IT CONTINUES. GOODNESS EVEN BILL COLLECTORS LEAVE NAME, ETC. YOU WOULD THINK THAT INSURANCE THAT IS SO IMPORTANT WOULD DO THE SAME. JUST GOES TO SHOW US THEY TOO DON'T GIVE A RATS BEHIND ABOUT OUR KIDS EITHER

Got a call from this number tonight.  Same as other posts, they hung up after a few seconds.  My kids are on Kid Care so it might be a renewal reminder.

I call back to trace the number  the answer machine say ( thank you for calling  acs )  what acs means?

They must have a call sysyem glitch! I believe this to be a valid call from Kids Care of FL.

They keep calling and hanging up.  If this is kids care, my children are 41 and 31 and I have never had kids care!

someone keeps calling me from this number, and all tehy do is stay on the phone for a few minutes quiet and then they hang up the phone...  

be real carefull, sometimes calls like this are made to see if you are home or not.

I got a call from this number after 5pm and no messege was left. I called back to see if they were stating my payment was not recieved last month but it was. Not sure whats going on. Will call customer svc in the morning.

Received a call, but didn't answer.  Message left from FL KidCare regarding a renewal form.  In my case, I had kids on KidCare, but didn't renew.  This call was letting me know that coverage would be cancelled if not renewed.  

Believe this to be a legit number as this organization is based out of Tallahassee.  Customer service number left in message (800.821.5437) which is the legit customer service number listed on their web site and my paperwork.

Did not talk. Did not hang up until I did 15 seconds into the call. We do have kids on Healthy kids though??

Just got a call from this number. I picked up and nobody talked. They just hung up.

Based on what I am seeing from the comments above, this is a call to record if our phone numbers are valid or something. Also, it seems to me that the Kids Care scenario is used to scam. To stay on the safe side, DO NOT fill out any form, unless you actually talk to someone using one of the phone numbers listed on the Kids Care website.

I just got a call.  A recorded message stated that I would receive a package in the mail in the next few days, from Florida Kidcare.  That I must fill it out and return it in order to keep my membership.
I am not a member, nor have I ever applied. My kids are grown and gone, a long time ago.

This number is for the Florida Healthy Kids network or Staywell Healthcare. I too had it show up on my caller ID with no voicemessage left; however, when I called it back, I discovered that is what it is for. They call when you are late making your monthly insurance payment.
