repeated calls

Have gotten phone calls from this number and others. Too early in the morning any day of the weeks.

they keep calling my cell phone do not know this person

I got a call from this number after serveral other different numbers also from Panama City FL.  I did not answer.  This appears to be a test number that perhaps is only used when all others fail, just to see what kind of response they get (although others are also 850-387-xxxx).

Called me and left vm.   Caller ID said PANAMACITY FL. 850-387-1718
They?re looking for a man with same last name and first initial.  I am female and have a different first name. Being on the DNC list does not protect you from these calls, they are not telemarketers trying to sell you something,  They are debt collectors and will search the phone books and call anyone with the same last name, or similar name, even if your number is unlisted. There should be a way to stop this behavior; I have a common last name and I am inundated with these types of calls! (Also calls from SHARE GROUP INC many numbers and BRISTOL TN at 423-484-0145)

They said they were NATIONWIDE CREDIT and to call 800-564-2395.  I called that number (which I had blocked on my phone previously because they never left a vm, and have called me over 100 times), and told them no one by that name lives here.  The woman said my number would be removed from all phone lists.   We will see . . . . . . . .
