I also got a call from this number and no answer. It is a pain!!! I want to know who this is!

This is another number we have been getting phone calls from and no answer!!!! God it is driving us crazy!!

Received this call about 5 minutes ago and I didn't answer as I did not recognize the call.  I'm on the do not call list, so this really upsets me!!

I have been receiving the same sort of calls and don't trust it! I put it on speaker phone as the call ID comes up "out of area" and wanted to know what this is in regards to. The automated pitch stated "get your interest rates reduced to as low as 6.9%. When I pressed the option to speak to a representative, she then came on the line, at which time I asked the woman (who did not give her name) "What card is this in regards to?" The woman on the other end said "OH MY GOD!" like I ruined her day, and promptly hung up.

Aside from being rude, I smell a scam!

yo i played basketball in penscola fl. and they kall my house about 1 week after asking 4 my name but i wasnt home then kalled back and diskonnected so now i dont know y but im keepin it poppin down in g town

1-866-900-5213 is their main line. Look, if you have nothing better to do than lets bring these people down today. Call them 50 times if you have to...

I have been getting these calls too and was first disturbed because my 85 yr old dad lives in this area........this is very disturbing as these slimy people have us jumping thru hoops to determine we dont want to do business with them......There should be legislation stopping this.....

Received a automated call from 850-432-4878.  Do not know who this is, shoud have not happened.

They just called, and left a message that they needed to "talk to me about my credit card" and that I needed to call back...
I won't be calling.

I got the call, didn't recognize the name on the caller i.d. which was Susan Manning, so let voice mail get it.  No message was left.

They called me about lowering interest rate on credit card. I pressed "1" to try to find out the name of the company.  A woman came on the line asking if I had more than $2000 on my credit card without stating her name or the company she was representing. Since they did not identify the company on the first recording, I asked who I was speaking with the lady immediately hung up.  

Since they refuse to even give out their name they have to be less then reputable and probably trying to scam people.

I received a call from this # at about 2:30pm, said they could lower my interest rate on my credit cards, press 1 to speak to a rep, or press 2 to delete my number from further calls.  Suspecting a scam, I pressed 2!  I will definitely be placing this # on call block.  I'm on the National Do Not Call Registry, too.

Received a computer call @ 1:14 pm on 8/7 stating that it was urgent that I contact them to reduce the interest rate on my credit cards.  I hung up on them and they have not caled back.  I also filed a complaint with the No Call Registry

I got the call (August 9th at 12:49 PM EDT).

My brother works in Florida so I almost called it back...

But thanks to this, I don't have to bother calling these morons back!

Got a call from (850)432-4878 at 9:57am -- What at SCAM, and it looks like they've been up to this all around the country this morning. I listened to an automated message and then pressed '1' to speak to a customer service rep.  Then I got a young girl on the line who asked for my name, address, social sec #, and lots of other personal information.  I played along with her and gave her a bunch of false info, then told her I was going to report her and her employer to the FBI and FTC (which I will be doing after I type this little rant and blow off some steam).  She hung up.  Get a real job people!  I'm fine with receiving cold calls from hard-working honest people, but not CREDIT THIEVES!!!!

850-432-4878 Pensacola, FL appeared on caller ID a few minutes ago.  They heard my business answering machine and did not leave a message.  Or the automated machine simply disconnected.  I screen my calls and was here when the call was made.

This is harassment.  Please stop!  I do believe that a police report on harassment should be filed if I only knew who to file it on.

Received a call at 8:00am on 08/09/07 and was told I could lower my credit card interest rates as if I had a credit card.... which is interesting since I have absolutely NO DEBT! :)  Sounds like SCAMMERS SCAMMERS SCAMMERS judging from the above post left just before mine.

I tried calling the number back (with and without *67) but got a "this number has been disconnected or is no longer in service message".

We've recieved multiple calls from this same number.  Go to website www.donotcall.gov and file a complaint.

I just got a call a few minutes ago also automated telling me that I was eligible for reduced interest rates. I pressed one because I wanted to know who was calling, and when the thickly-accented woman came on, I asked her "Who are you and why are you calling me?" which prompted her to hang up.

I plan to report them to the DNC and to the FCC. Thanks to the poster that linked to that, I've never heard of that before. And thanks to those that make this site and all who have posted, this is really handy!

I just got a call on my caller id from the same number, showing pensacola florida.  I'm glad this thread is here, and I will be careful!  Plus, I'm also on the do not call registry, and I will complain.

Do not give these people your information no matter how little. I am retired Secret Service and have seen many a horror stories, especially where the senior citizens are concerned. They call me, too. I talked to MY credit card company and they advised that they do not call their customers unless there is a problem.

If you have a password on your account (most people do in order to get things done over the phone), ask the caller to tell you what it is. If they can't, then you just terminate the call and call your local Secret Service office with the number on your caller ID or the local police.
