no voice and hangs up 2 to 3 calls per day even on weekends

This caller leaves no message. Have not tried to call back. Another annoying silent telemarketing firm.

can we complain to FCC ?

Calls and leave no message.  Also called and received a recorded message about a vacation package.

They are "ALWAYS TRAVEL" calling to tell me I won a trip.  They call my home every day and only talk when my husband answers, but they ask for me.  I call them back with no answer.  They will not leave a voicemail.  We have told them to remove our number from their system but to no avail.

I just received a call from that number at 859pm tonigt .Jan 4 2010 est
I said hello and this guy in a super cheerful voice said ,Hello and how are you this fine night ? Well,its freezing out lol  20 deg and I sort of growled back at him..Who the heck are you  .I'm good re voices and knew I did not know this man ..
        He said ,I'm William from the research network  and i said .I'm not interested and before I could add I'm on do not call list ,he quickly hung up ..I've gotten a few calls before ..tho not too recently from a female saying same thing ...To call at 9pm ? is really nervy .,I also have an unlisted number ..

called and stated that she was from a research company. She wanted to know if she could have 3 minutes of my time to ask me about my television viewing habits. Told her that I don't own a TV and she kindly said thank you for your time and hung up.

call today from these jerks again.

They called me tonight three times in a row as I was 'trying' to speak with a family member on my cell phone. The caller [from "Research Network" said a 'trying to sound sexy', "yeah"; I hung up after stating that they are not to call my number again as I am on the do not call list. Two more calls in a row with nothing spoken but I left my phone 'on' that third time [without hanging up]. When I tried to call the number long after I had hung my phone back up [I use a phone card so my phone number will not appear on their caller i.d.], the phone was busy. I filed a complaint with the do not call registry and stated "obscene caller".

This number has been calling us during the day and early evening. There is never any one on the other end.  No voice or message either...

my parents keep getting calls that no one answers. i was over the house when this happened again and did a *69 and got the phone number 850-701-1049. i believe these people have called repeatedly and hang up as soon as someone says hello

Tired of receiving the calls from Reserach Network. I just registered with Do Not Call donotcall.gov and also lodged a complaint with them. Problem is, got to wait 30 days.

I am receiving calls all through out the day from 1-850-701-1049 they dont leave a  message nor will they answer when I say Hello.  Starting to really piss me off it just isn't during business hours

Received a call from this number on a Sunday night at 9:09PM.  Why someone is calling after 9PM, especially on a Sunday is just not right.  I didn't answer, but caller ID said "Research Network".

If anyone is reading this post, they probably did as I did and GOOGLED the number as I did. I hope I can shed a little more light on this number. I used *69 to get the number. I got a call from them asking for me by name. I said "speaking" and some man's voice said they were calling "on behalf of SGLI." (That's Servicemen's Group Life Insurance). He said his recods show that about a week ago I tried to contact them. "Nope. No contact" I responded. He politely said "Thank you" and hung up. Of course I was puzzled.

"On behalf" usually means, to me anyway, that they're a telemarketer using the "on behalf" card to get around the no call restriction. If you are currently doing business with an agency and have previously contacted them, they can call you back. These nuts are obviously snooping or taking wild guesses and phishing.

It took me a few minutes after the call, but it dawned on me that they're using voice disguising technology. No one has that silky of a telephone voice. It's not possible. It was too perfect. I WILL find out who this is and hopefully update this post.

Getting daily calls from this place wanting me to participate in the survey studies.  They said they only had a few questions so I agreed to participate giving no personal information.  Well 17 minutes later the survey was finally finished.  I am just hoping I will not recieve a large phone bill or something...  They claimed they were calling from a college in Flordia and were doing a study on the criminal system and 20 other things...

When I told them they had reached a number that was on do not call list, they hung up.  Let's call file a complaint and have the a holes fined and shut down. Losers!!

2 - 3 calls daily to my cell. Who are they?

OK, so they finally answered me today when they called.  They asked for my husband and said they were the COMMONWEALTH OF PENNSYLVANIA.  This call is coming from "Tallahassee FL" on my caller ID.  So I asked them why they were calling from FL?  I said my husband wasn't home and they hung up!  I cannot call this number back and have blocked it from my phone but somehow it keeps getting through!
