850-995-9299 - no message left.  Caller ID said "STATE OFFICE."

Call received Sunday, 9-9-2007 5:34PM. No message left. Caller ID says Tel Enterprised

Caller ID said, "STATE OFFICE"
BUT they said they were calling from Make a Wish. I asked to be removed from their calling list. He rudely said, "we're sorry to burden you..we're just trying to help dying children" before I could say anything, he hung up!!!!

Got a Call from this number.  Answered and no one would reply.  Hung Up.

Two calls from this number March 22, 2009, to my Alabama number. I did not answer, since no state office would call on a Sunday. I just had some sort of protection added to my line by AT&T, so maybe that helped.

I have received 3 calls today (February 2, 2009) from this number.  I was not home to answer the first two, and I ignored the third.  Decided to google the number and came across this site.

State offices do not call on weekends lol.....850 is a panhandle florida area code.

Now in Pace, Fl. Sounds like a scam.
Some say collecting for Sate Police.But we are in MS. They are in FL.
Before this it was for Cancer relay/run.

Someone from this number calls every night and hangs up.  Today is Monday, 26 Jan 09 and the call was approximately 8:50 PM

Same thing, call and hang up when you say hello...probably someone who gets paid by how many calls they make, and actually talking to someone takes too much time...

I've seen this number on my caller ID many times before. I answered one time and they were asking for donations for Ms. State Police. It didn't feel right to me so I never answered again and they never leave a message. The last call was January 27th 2009. How can I get them to quit calling?

I received a call tonight from this number.  When I answered, no one was there.  Caller ID identified the caller as STATE OFFICE like many of posts indicated above. A reverse call check tonight showe4d the location as Pace, FL, like identified on 7-8-08 above.

Today's date is 10-26-10.

Caller listened to me answer, I heard one "Hello" then nothing.  Caller hung up after about 5 seconds.

Caller I.D. shows State Office.  I am on caller I.D.  I do not answer phone if I do not recognize caller.

Nobody on the line when answered.  Called back several times.  No answer and says voicemail full.  Very fishy.  Would not trust the call.  Panhandle of Fl area and calling the S. MS area???
