I got a call from some Avtar from delhi high court(8470872329) on 04/04/2014 wherein he said he wana verify the address as advocate Surat Pratap filed a complaint against me when i asked him case is filed on what basis he said he doesnt knw if you wana know the details plz call on 8467053507 -adv Surat Pratap. when i called het up she said TataDocomo people have filed a complaint against me if you wana settle down the case plz pay the bill amount sum 2593 rs before 4pm and send her the reciept number. and to let her knw within 15 minutes or ele she will have to do the legal procedings... plz guide what it is

I just got the similar kind of call from Tata photon LAWYER..lol ..thanks i was just about to make the payment. nd then i saw dis post. i called back that no. again 08467099336 nd said i wunt pay the bill first resolve my issues which i had to face because of tata Photon. he started abusing me and said u wunt get the bail.. I will c u tomorrw in the court..
He was very abusive, i told him that i m recording you call and he hung up.. crazy!

Hello everyone.
I was using tata photon whiz which the company claims that it will give speed upto 3.1 mbps. hahaha but as you people might very well know that it is just a f****ng statement only. i have used it for almost 2.5 years and i lodged an application to tata photon to disconnect my number. i got a call thereafter that "sir why do u want to stop the connection. we will provide u with most lowest plan in our lot and all b***s***." i agreed and took a plan of 299 + service tax extra. i used it for about 4 months again. sometime after, i switched over to wi-fi connection and so i requested them again to cancel my number and they said if i cancel the number i wont be able to re-open it for the next 60 days. they said migrating to pre paid from post paid will be a better option. so as per their guuidance i submitted the request along with address proof and photo, cleared the unbilled amount and was relaxing that my work would be done in short while. after 1.5 months i.e 25/02/2014 i got a text from tata docomo that your request for migrating has been closed and it is not done. i called photon customer care and they said, sir due to non completion of documentation, your request is not completed. i mean oh really? what the f*** are these a***oles talking about! and today i got a text that your outstanding bill due on 22 march 2014 is 768.00.


I am really not willing to pay them this amount. but the connection is in the name of my father and i m afraid if any problem comes to him for non payment of the bill.

can anyone please suggest me what to do/ and if i do not pay the bill, what they can do??
although i do not live on the address mentioned in the proof of address.

After looking in to google i felt comfortable as i am not aware of this kind of Harrasment anytime in my life. First time in my life some one called me 10 days back from this number 8467053507-  by name pratap kumar singh . today i got a call from a different Number by a Lady with number 9891886705 saying that they have sent some notice and telling my whole address but i have not recieved anything so far. After that she said to call pratap again by giving the number to me to cross check what could be that civil issue raised. I even cross checked that is it related to tataindicom bill which i have already paid with full and final settlement 15 days back for the issue that is carrying from the last 2 yrs which i never need to pay the bill though.
but she denied saying that its not related to tataindicom bill but its a different issue and you need to come to delhi if you do not call .

i am really disturbed with that call as i am really in a clients meeting from US customers and please advice what to do from such calls and spam calls and spam messages like lottery winning and all

I got a call yesterday from the number 8271900374 saying that he is an advocate i did not get his name properly he said the i have the case tomorrow in the court i have not paid the bill because without the usage i am getting the bills how is it possible. They think that we are fools and we will believe them guys dont be scared this is just to scare you thats itnothing else so please dont panic. If any one gets these kinds of call ask them questions about the judge's name and the case number and the section and tell them that you have an advocate tell them that your advocate will handle the case they will keep their mouth shut you try to scare them by telling them about your advocate.

Exactly similar case with me today. Instead of solving my customer complaint, Tata Docomo is using such cheap practices.
First call from a girl number 8130310949 saying that she is calling from Tees Hazari Court and there is case hearing tomorrow. I should talk to advocate R K Sharma- File number 312/13 within 10 minutes.
I called to given number 8285080973, attended by Ashish Sharma, so called junior of the advocate. Who later sent me settlement letter and link for payment.
Later when I asked for copy of the Summon, he lost his control and started abusing.
All this is pure Gunda Gardi and Fraud. Some thing should be done for these cheaters.

Today I got a call from number +91-7836965227(from TIMS company), who calimed that he is in legal firm of tata indicom and he asked me to talk to lawyer of high court Mr. Aditya  Bhardwaj. He gave me contact number of lawyer +91- 8510985516.
When I called the lawyer he sid that there is court case against you and you have to appear in court tomorrow otherwise your police verification will be done.
They even said that we have sent you several notices on your postal  address but I didnt received any notice.
Please beware of such people becasue these all are personal agents of Tata Indicom from Recovery department.

legaly one can not do any thing unless and untill we record the call etc. but one thing is sure that these phone numbers are correct so i thought an idea to frustrate those people. every time u sit on  internet register these number and names to all the sites like insurance policy sites, digital tv site , credit card site , mediclaim policy sites wherever u can register. and if it will be done by so many people they will get so many calls from these companies so some sort of satisfaction we people will have. more hard step is that u can use a PCO to call these people and frustrate them or u can abuse them by unknown identity.

i got such fake call last month too but his name was chouhan ph. 8447674079 and advocates name he said was same Sharma, case no AW0227.
what action can we take against such people..........................

i got a call from 8505979931,Veerpal Singh an Investigation officer [Reg-0071], saying that there is a case in my name for  cheating fraud under Adv. R.K. Sharma cell no. 09711934953. He called up for address verifycation, as there is no response when they contact me....................Rubbish.........................

yesterday I got a similar call from romesh pawar with the same no claiming that he is a soochna adhikari of delhi court and said that advocate archna mathur with the same no mentioned in your post filed a case against me under section 403 and 447 and gave me the no of advocate to talk. I immediately consulted my lawyer he said need not to talk to any body these people are recovery agents of company and playing this game to put the pressure to get  the unnecessary dues. If next time u get the call u ask for sms or mail regarding the whole issue . need not to worry they can't to any thing . they are just trying to put the mental tension so that some innocent persons get in the trap.

I got a call from same number but she said her name is archana mathur... and the exact same thing hapnd wid me ....So plz tell me is it true...

Recieved call from 8506897628 and same things said as our friends wrote in above posts. She said calling from delhi as suchana adhikari and some case of dhokagiri is registered in delhi high court. First i listened to her calmly and then at last i asked her who had registered it and whom do i owe to pay and how much...She said i dont know whom to pay but its 45000 and for seconds i felt like pulling her out from my mobile phone & make her sit in front of me in real. She was giving some number of nisha and asked me to speak...I said if she has registered a case then ask her to call & why should I and she spoked non sense for sometime & dropped the phone. Its really disaapointing as it usually spoils the mood , energy & positive thinkings of any normal person. I will try to record the call next time & ask all details of this prank callers & will fwd to my police friend so real face of these cheaters come out

The same thing happened with me and the no. from Soochna Adhikari? of Delhi High Court. Piyali Choudhuri was calling is 8506897628. That stupid lady doesn't know anything about law.
I answered first call she asked me to talk one of their advocate (another fool lady),...... stupid fellow if you are advocate then why should I talk to other one (Furzy) Nonsense lady.
Immediately after 15 mins. she called back and checked whether I did had word with the suggested advocate, I told hun Pragnesh bolu chhu... tame kaun..... she started threatening... I told I can understand only gujarati no hindi...plz talk to me in gujarati.....She faint....after 5 min. some other dirty fellow called and started conversation in Gujarati.... I started English... He started Hinglish....poor advocate....

please understand without your local police station no one can arrest until and unless you committed any serious crime.

You cannot actually be arrested for Credit Card debt. Being in debt and owing money in general is a civil issue, not a criminal issue. Technically you did not steal the money, you and the credit card company have an agreement that you will borrow the money and pay it back when you can. What To Do If You're On The Receiving End
If you happen to get such calls in the future, ask the caller to send you an SMS and \ or email as written proof, in addition to mailing you a copy of the legal notice for the case registered against you. In all probability, the fake lawyer will back off. However, if the caller is daft enough to send you an SMS or email, you now have his name, phone number, and enough evidence to go straight to the cops and file an FIR against the dubious advocate.

One advice :

1. Send one letter ( registered A/D ) to the telecom services head office, local office & email IDs, that you will claim harrassment charges from the telecom company if further unsolicited phone calls are received.
2. Block your phone number for unsolicited calls by sending sms to the service provider.
3. Do not just wait and watch what is being done by the telecom company. Get info ( address , phone numbers ) about local consumer forum and send a complaint letter enclosing all previous docs you are having.  
4. In the above complaint specifically write that you are being harrassed, your time, energy, money & peace is being disturbed by the telecom company agents / employees by making threats & unsolicited calls to you and for this the telecom company has to suitably compensate.
5. Before it is too late act now. Most of us silently & patiently try to adjust & accommodate the miscreants and because of this this type of activity has gone up.

I got a call from ? Soochna Adhikari? of Delhi High Court. She said her name is Piyali Choudhuri and her phone number is : +91 8506897628. She told me she had a closed envelope of a case against me and that its going to the judge for my sentencing. I asked her what is it all about and she gave me the number of an Advocate called ? NIsha Kothari? - + 91 9899903384.

She told me that they have send court notices to me ... which i did not get. And that i have a pending amount with Reliance broadband - 3 years ago. The amount is of 1203/-. She said that the judge will fine me 20,000 and 15,000 as court fees and there could be a short term jail as well. The way out is to pay the money right now. I asked her about the details of the payment and how they woke up suddenly. She flatly refused  and gave me once hour. Post which the judge will sentence me.
I stay in Mumbai and the case is in Delhi. She said she is a Sarkari wakil. Isnt it strange for a Sarkari wakil to call on behalf of reliance and ask for payment.

I would like to know if this is for real ? I dont mind paying if its true. And are these people really what they claim to be. I have a feeling by their language that they are imposters. Is there anything that i can do about it ?

I too received this call from 09582508415 saying that I had a case hearing in Tis hazari Court the next day morning. When I asked for the details of case, he said he had the closed envelope in my name and could not open that envelope. He further told me to contact the advocate on phone 08587851531.
