Call was from "Account Services" asking if I wanted to reduce the interest rate on my credit cards. I pressed 9 "to reduce the interest" and finally got to someone who wanted to know if I still had Visa and Mastercards. When I asked if I had done business with them before he said yes, but after some muffled talking on the other end I was mysteriously cut off. Didn't even get the chance to ask why they put a bogus number on Caller ID if they were a legitimate company. Aw, shucks

call is for reducing your interest rate on your credit cards.  Called my credit card company and they said this is the way they get your identity information to steal.  All my cards are now cancelled and a fraud alert on my credit report.
